Project Management

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE

As a Gameplay Programmer you will ensure the playability of the game (the link between the player’s actions, character’s behaviours, and the consequences on the evolution of the game).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Analyze and understand the game design documents in order to define the required functionalities and the game systems that must be developed in the engine;
• Analyse existing functionalities in the engine and determine if they meet project requirements. If necessary, define how to adapt them in order to better meet game requirements;
• Suggest improvements whenever necessary by designing and implementing new systems or modifying existing systems;
• Collaborate with game designers/level designers/animators so as to discuss the constraints and establish the technical possibilities of the various gameplay functions;
• Determine the conditions that will lead to actions based on commands;
• Implement and optimize the controls and interaction systems so that gameplay is fluid;
• Validate and verify whether the newly developed systems fulfill the intentions of the project and are coherent with the existing code;
• Ensure that the implementation of the controls and game systems provide the player with the experience that the design and/creative director had envisioned;
• Work with people from other crafts in developing the tools required to efficiently make the necessary gameplay adjustments;
• Seek out and correct the gameplay bugs identified by the production and quality control teams.
  

Qualifications

The QC Tester will work closely with all departments to ensure they meet their goals, and ensure that the game team is kept updated on developments.

Testing both the game and supporting tools, the QC Tester should have a good understanding of the bug life cycle and has keen eye for detail to identify issues, conduct thorough investigation and clearly report them via verbal and written bug reports.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear reports on findings and communicate status to the wider team
• Perform daily smoke tests to ensure stability of the build
• Verify fixes made and cooperate in production of build/ release notes
• Work closely with assigned game and tools teams to identify areas to test and construct clear and relevant test cases

Technical UI Designer will focus more on the design and implementation aspects. The candidate will gain hands-on experience with the editor and tools, assisting the UI Design, Art and Code departments in crafting the player experiences. This individual will develop, document and support the game art pipelines and techniques used by the production teams on the project.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Programmer to join our dynamic software development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-performance, scalable, and maintainable game applications. You will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior developers, and ensuring that our codebase is well-architected, tested and documented.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Planning and documenting technical specifications with the Project Manager, ensuring a clear roadmap for development and implementation
• Create, debug, maintain, and optimize the game’s engine, editor, and related tools used for the game’s development
• Offer technical solutions, innovate and improve the quality of implementation, performance, and usability of the editor, tools, and toolchain as a whole

The Build Engineer will work on automated build, deploy and test systems. Additionally, will support the teams by managing software resources and give access to subsystems.

A Technical Artist will work closely with artists and programmers to help with the asset and pipeline optimizations. You will participate in the implementation of technical art features, develop tools and workflows, and will perform debugging on tools and processes.

The main and usual functions of the Technical Artist are to:

As a Technical Artist Intern you will work closely with the Art and Technical Art teams to support the pipelines and tools needed for art production. The QC Operations Manager will oversee QC (Quality Control Department) operations and as a primary responsibility, focus on organizational effectiveness by creating, documenting, and maintaining operations processes in collaboration with QC leaders, HR, Cost Control, IT, Admin, Management and WW QC team on resource and budget forecasting.
