We are seeking a licensed bus driver to operate our daily bus service. The bus route will involve two return trips from Rockhampton to farms located near Gogango Queensland each day, five days per week. The role will provide transport to farm employees to our macadamia orchards.

The successful candidate will need to be available for the following shifts:

Monday to Friday 4:30am to 7:30am

Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bus to transport passengers while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organised bus interior, including regular cleaning of windows and floors
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections to ensure it is in good working condition
• Comply with schedules and routes, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate delays or disruptions

To be successful for this position, you will have:

• HR Class Drivers licence, with a sound driving record with no history of significant violations

Rural Funds Management has a full-time opportunity for an experienced irrigation operator to join our irrigation team as a Technician / Leading Hand. Situated in the Fitzroy Region, near Gogango, Rural Funds Management is operating multiple macadamia orchards in various stages of development. There are presently approx. 600 hectares of macadamias planted with a further 1900 hectares of development planned. Water for the developments comes from multiple pump sites on the Fitzroy River above and below the newly completed Rookwood weir. This water is stored in multiple on orchard storages and then pressurised and supplied to the trees via micro sprinkler installations.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Irrigation Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Liaising with the Irrigation Manager to implement irrigation programs to maximise growth, yield and tree/crop quality
• Delivering water requirements to all trees
• Maintaining irrigation infrastructure including pumps, filtration systems, motors, automation and delivery systems
• Monitoring water usage via monitoring systems and visual observations
• Maintaining records/forms for water delivery, irrigation maintenance, payroll and cost allocation timesheets and safety

• Supervising small teams, including employees, contractors and labour hire personnel

In this role, you will provide investment and asset management functions.
