Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for blue collar positions, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Talent Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, community outreach, and job fairs, to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs by developing relationships with potential candidates and maintaining an up-to-date database.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, labour laws, and industry regulations.
- HR Support: Assist with various HR responsibilities, such as employee onboarding, performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics, challenges, and successes to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruiting blue collar workers, preferably in an operations or industrial environment.
- Education: A relevant degree preferred
- Strong understanding of job requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing recruitment needs and priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality results.
