MEDICAL DEVICE SALES MANAGER

Our global client, who manufacture medical devices, are looking for a Medical Device Sales Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for managing a small team of Territory Managers to achieve sales and profit targets, including recruitment, training, development and performance management of the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Medical Device Sales Manager your key duties will include:
•The preparation and execution of the sales plan including forecasts consistent with the wider strategy.
•Maintaining and growing market share across the designated portfolio.
•Identifying target accounts and understand the successful sales process for each product.
•Assessing the training and development needs of the sales team. Implementing appropriate training strategies and accompanied field visits.
•Using the company’s performance management systems to actively manage performance.
•Utilising analytics to inform the planning of the sales function.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•Proven people management experience within a medical environment.
•Experience of managing a sales team, with a national or regional structure.
•Experience within medical or pharmaceutical sales.

Main duties & Responsibilities

Securing New Corporate Partnership Business

· To support in the creation of a new corporate fundraising strategy and subsequently implement this

· Develop resources, pitch decks and communications to attract new partnerships

· Identify, research and approach a pipeline of potential corporate partners, including those with existing links to employees, volunteers, trustees and members.

· Confidently pitch and write proposals to potential corporate partners, tailoring style and approach according to their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities

Corporate Partnership Account Management

• Train customers on their business portals, technical solutions, and services to facilitate growth.

We are looking to recruit ambitious, smart and results motivated individuals to be Sales Leaders of the future. We aren’t looking for the finished article as we will in turn offer a comprehensive induction through our accredited sales executive training programme.

You must have a full, valid driving licence and be able to work between 08.30 and 18:00 Monday – Saturday with a day off in the week, and alternate Sundays 10:00 – 16:00.
