This support is accomplished using information structures, information processes, and information technology. Follows procedures per established policies and guidelines. Program responsibilities include program development, project implementation, logistics, ongoing monitoring and analytics, communication, collaboration, and education.

The Data Analyst RN applies the nursing process principles within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting. The Data Analyst RN provides support at the service level, and/or the organizational level. The Data Analyst RN demonstrates expert knowledge and ability to apply principles of evidence-based practice. The Data Analyst RN's core elements of performance include knowledge and active participation in quality improvement processes and initiatives as well as customer service programs.
