Experience:
o 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on IT infrastructure projects.
o Proven experience working in areas like networking, cloud infrastructure, data centers, and server management.
o Strong understanding of Datacenter, IT infrastructure components such as servers, storage, networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and virtualization technologies.
o Well versed with latest trends in IT infra and also knowledge with products from top OEM’s like Broadcom, Cisco, HPE, Dell, MS etc.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong infrastructure background to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. With over 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, the ideal candidate will analyze, define, and document business processes, requirements, and solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of IT infrastructure projects. You will work closely with infrastructure teams, helping translate technical requirements into actionable business strategies while ensuring alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering and Deal preparation:
o Deal Briefing from RFP/ Tender documents.
o Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements for infrastructure projects such as network upgrades, server management, and cloud migrations.
o Work with IT teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and infrastructure solutions.
Process Analysis and Improvement:
o Analyze current infrastructure-related processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to optimize IT operations and performance.
o Develop clear, actionable documentation including workflows, use cases, and business requirement documents (BRDs).
Coordination and Support:
o Collaborate with infrastructure and IT teams to support the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines and business objectives are met.
o Act as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
o Facilitate meetings and discussions to gather input, address concerns, and keep all parties informed on project status and developments
Documentation and Communication:
o Maintain comprehensive documentation, including project requirements, business processes, and technical architecture.
o Create user manuals, training guides, and FAQs for new systems and processes.
Technical Skills:
o Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and infrastructure-related tools like ServiceNow, PRTG, Nagios, etc.
o Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and create insightful reports.
Soft Skills:
o Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical requirements into clear, actionable business terms.
o Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to facilitate discussions, manage expectations, and ensure alignment.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Certifications:
o Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA) or relevant certifications in ITIL or Agile methodologies are a plus.
