Location:

In conjunction with WoWToWN’s current Ways of Working, we intend to offer a hybrid program for our interns, ensuring both a flexible and immersive experience. All applicants should plan to be in the Philadelphia area and access to our Home Office throughout the entirety of the program.

Internship Details:

• 10 weeks:  June 3rd – August 9th  

• Full time – 40 hours/wk

• Paid – $17/hr

• Greater Philadelphia location – on site/office requirements vary by internship position but should be generally considered hybrid. On average, an intern can expect to be in our home office 3 times per week.

Project Details:

The Strategy & Innovation Team at 5B help standardize & track large projects across the organization. This intern will join the strategy team that supports initiatives within the Merchandising, Planning & Allocations Teams. The Intern will assist in building a robust go to market process or calendar that takes a retail assortment from a strategic idea / concept through to actual product on store floors. The Intern can expect to exercise & build project planning & management skills.

Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled as an incoming Junior – Senior in a relevant Bachelor’s program (See Desired Skills).

• Minimum 3.0 GPA

• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software

• Must have availability for the full 10-week program as space is limited

• Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented

• Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively

• Knowledge and passion for our brand is a plus!

As a Business Development intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business growth initiatives, identifying new opportunities, and expanding our client base. You will also work closely with the team to strengthen the business capabilities of Think Tank Studio. This internship offers a valuable learning experience, providing exposure to various aspects of business development.

The ideal candidate we’re looking for is a self-starter who is proactive, can work independently. Our daily grind is full of creativity, conversations, and the occasional dash of chaos.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate leads for the company by researching for project opportunities and potential customers
• Craft compelling pitches to generate interest and attain new projects for the company
• Develop project plans for implementation including scope, timelines and budget
• Coordinate with designers, writers and project partners to ensure timely execution of work that upholds the production standards of the company

We lead and develop 5 years Capex and Business Plan for International Products, aligning with corporate guidance and strategy. The plan helps to inform the aspirational goals and execution at the country level.

In this role, you will lead the fit for purpose Capex and Business Plan development for the assigned business functions through collaboration with business leaders and partners. Leverage the knowledge from the role, you may be assigned to projects and provide SME support to business functions.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Business Planning and Analysis:

• Partners with business functions, lead and develop a fit for purpose CAPEX and Business Plan leveraging corporate guidance, Long Range Area Strategic Plan (LRASP), and key assumptions.
• Translates the Capex and Business Plan into a story and drive alignment across all levels – directors, country managers and others.
• Develop X + Y forecast (Actual YTD, forecast for the remaining months) for assigned business functions.
• Prepares financial statement and coordinates with PWC on statutory audit for selected Singapore entities.
• Leads assigned projects to provide SME support to business functions and support personal developments.
• Other responsibilities and projects may be assigned as applicable.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong financial acumen, grasp key points and translate the data to meaningful insights
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders across all levels
• Growth mindset to learn new business, project assignments, and potential portfolio rotation.
