Some patrolling of common areas. Interacting with tenants and contractors, and emergency services. Monitoring the building on CCTV, maintaining Daily Log Books; assisting tenants, contractors & Centre Management when requested; monitoring building operations and equipment - reporting any issues to Centre Management. About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the vibrant, fast paced environment of Fosse Park in the role of Night Security Officer. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the retail Security sector or similar customer facing role. The successful applicant will optimise the customer experience by demonstrating the highest levels of Security and Health & Safety. Average of 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off fixed 19:00 - 07:00 shifts

Essential Requirements:

· SIA Security or Door Supervisor License

· SIA Public Space CCTV License

· Basic IT Literacy

· Have an understanding of Health & Safety

About The Role
Summary & Purpose of the Role

- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

- Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence.

- Provide a visible security contact for customers and staff.

- Provide excellent customer service.

- Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity.

- Liaising with the Police and store management where required.

- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

-Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner.

- This role is a dual role position where security officer is the primary role, but, when necessary, the officer will need to cover the control room.



Essential:

-Customer service and interpersonal skills

-Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

-SIA license - DS or Security

-SIA CCTV- not essential as training will be provided.

- Previous experience of working in a Retail Security Role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Your new company
You will be joining a main contractor overseeing the successful delivery of civil works within the water sector. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water industry, with future works in the Midlands region. They offer excellent opportunities for career progression and development, and due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Manager to be based on sites initially in the East Midlands area.

Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Overseeing day-to-day site operations
• Ensuring adherence to health, safety and environmental policies
• Reporting progress to key project stakeholders
• Managing construction activities
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors
• Maintaining budgets and schedules.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will:

• Have previous experience in civil works within the water industry, in a site management or supervising capacity
• Hold a CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualification
• Understand health, safety and environmental policies
• Be able to manage construction activities and coordinate subcontractors
• Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
