This Program Manager position is located at Enterprise Support (ES), Training and Development (T&D), Canine Training Center, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Program Manager, you will perform the following duties:

• Oversees and initiates strategic planning to position the canine program for ongoing growth and effectiveness, communicates the program's vision to both internal and external stakeholders and Congress. Sets overall priorities, goals and objectives and evaluates the program's success in meeting such objectives. Monitors and evaluates performance of organizational sections, managers and staff. • Provides numerous briefings to the TSA Administrator and represents TSA before Congressional Committees on issues relating to procurement, training, and deployment of teams.
• Ensures adequate resources are procured, trained, deployed, and evaluated to meet the current multi-modal security requirements; includes but is not limited to adequate training facilities and equipment for all assigned personnel.
