Reporting into VP of FP&A for Xplor Pay, you will help us provide critical finance support to Xplor's payments business, and the Group's wider business, in the ANZ region. You will play an important part in both our FP&A and Financial Control functions. Some of the other responsibilities include:

Commercial Business Partnering

• Provide dedicated Finance Business Partner support to the Director, ANZ Payments and their team in the Xplor Pay ANZ business
• Analyse and manipulate complex datasets to draw meaningful conclusions, presenting actionable insights to senior management
• Evaluate pricing and new deal proposals for profitability
• Create simple but powerful business intelligence enabling the commercial team to manage performance effectively

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Own and run financial forecast models and deliver budgets and multi-year projections in line with company requirements
• Critically assess historical trends in conjunction with future objectives to create reliable model inputs
• Collaborate with the business to create a strategic financial plan that meets company targets

Reporting / KPIs

• Produce monthly and quarterly management reporting including financial, commercial, and operational KPIs, that help explain performance of the business and propose future KPI enhancements

Financial control

• Partner with the Newcastle shared service centre to optimise its service delivery in the ANZ region
• Senior local point of contact for key external stakeholders including PwC & ANZ Bank
• Lead the annual audit process for ANZ in partnership with the UK shared service team

This role has significant opportunities for development through involvement in the wider Xplor Pay portfolio and finance transformation programme initiatives.

We are looking for a Finance Manager with strong analytical abilities to support our Global Technology & Global Operations divisions.  This person will be a key member of the Group FP&A team, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting, as well as financial planning & analysis to the Senior Leadership teams. 

Financial Planning and Reporting

• Support preparation and construction of annual budgets and forecasts for all Global Shared Services divisions
• Collaborate with and challenge the business to deliver robust, accurate budgets in line with Xplor strategic plan
• Support in the development and implementation of improvements in planning processes and ensure alignment Group policies and practices
• Ensure timely reporting of financial performance and KPIs around headcount metrics
• Provide insightful financial commentary on a monthly and ad hoc basis for headcount movements
• Support buildout, development, and improvement of KPI metric reporting
• Own the modeling and forecasting workbooks for the Global Technology and Global Operations staffing

Client/Customer (Internal)

• Provide local leadership to 3-4 Staff/Senior Financial Analysts
• Act as a finance business partner to key stakeholders and leadership on strategic financial matters including analysis of underlying drivers of business performance and business case preparation
• Challenge financial performance vs plan to identify opportunities and risks
• Partner with FPA team members on continuous improvement in headcount reporting
• Work closely with financial control teams to ensure financials are well understood and communicated

Financial/Commercial

• Undertake routine and ad hoc analysis of performance to derive insights, identify opportunity and risk, and drive robust decision making
• Assess return on investment for key investment decisions
