Responsibilities:

• Finance – Accounts Payable: data entry and preparation of payment vouchers and documents related to accounts payable
• Student Administration – assist in administration of application for bursaries / financial assistance for students from low-income families; liaison with parents for document check and issuance of approval letters to successful applicants.
• Record keeping – eg utilities and telecoms monthly usage, photocopy monthly usage, donations record and acknowledgement to donors via issuance of Thank you cards, etc
• Customer service, eg covering front counter duties when receptionist is busy/not available, mainly to serve walk-in customers such as parents, students, staff, contractors, etc. and answering and directing telephone calls to relevant staff, issue of keys and remote controllers to staff and contractors, etc. and covering duties for Librarian during her absence.
• Assist in emergency and safety teams deployed by the School
• Any other duties as and when assigned by the School.

Requirments:

• Minimum 3 subject passes including English at GCE ‘O’ or Grade 3 for ‘N’ Level (NA) or its equivalent, in the English medium.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Word and Excel.
• Relevant experience in school finance and administration would be an advantage.

Additional:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:15 am to 4:45pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications within the finance and tax domain, covering tax compliance, transfer pricing, and tax reclaims.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into Business Requirements Documents (BRD) or User Stories.
• Analyze business requirements and contribute to the conceptualization of IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Produce Functional Specifications Documents (FSD) and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) during project execution, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Validate IT solutions with engineering and architecture teams, and effectively communicate specifications to the project delivery team and stakeholders.
• Present IT solutions to business and IT stakeholders, elucidating how they address business requirements.
• Provide ongoing support to project teams during execution, addressing queries related to requirements and collaborating with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for any necessary revisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• More than 2 years of experience in technology business analysis or software development, preferably in investment or banking industries.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing the expectations of senior-level stakeholders across various business units.
• Proficient in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with a mindset and ability to work independently.
• Experience in documenting BRDs, FSDs, use cases, and visual modelling, with knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, SQL, and automation technology and a good understanding of tax and finance business domains.
• Solid grasp of financial applications, UI/UX principles, database design, and software engineering best practices.

Job Function:

• Finance: Provide appropriate and accurate accounting records and financial statements in a timely manner
• Able to provide variance analysis of the accounts
• Able to extract and collate data requested for analysis, budget preparation/evaluation and adhoc reporting.
• Able to handle online cash management matters
• Liaise with external parties such as bankers, auditors and consultants.
• Administration: Provide administrative, clerical and reception support

Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent in accounting with at least 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Able to maintain a full set of accounts including preparation of financial statements
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Meticulous with attention to details and precision in account reconciliation and report generation.
• A commitment to good interpersonal relationships, teamwork and support of organization's ministries
• A commitment to confidentiality regarding all financial records, both of the organization's and staff, and the members.
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of accounting software - MYOB etc is desirable
