Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications within the finance and tax domain, covering tax compliance, transfer pricing, and tax reclaims.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into Business Requirements Documents (BRD) or User Stories.
- Analyze business requirements and contribute to the conceptualization of IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Produce Functional Specifications Documents (FSD) and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) during project execution, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Validate IT solutions with engineering and architecture teams, and effectively communicate specifications to the project delivery team and stakeholders.
- Present IT solutions to business and IT stakeholders, elucidating how they address business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support to project teams during execution, addressing queries related to requirements and collaborating with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for any necessary revisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- More than 2 years of experience in technology business analysis or software development, preferably in investment or banking industries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing the expectations of senior-level stakeholders across various business units.
- Proficient in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with a mindset and ability to work independently.
- Experience in documenting BRDs, FSDs, use cases, and visual modelling, with knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, SQL, and automation technology and a good understanding of tax and finance business domains.
- Solid grasp of financial applications, UI/UX principles, database design, and software engineering best practices.
