We are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to be responsible for the upkeep of the documents for a defined service within the Cancer Directorate via Q-Pulse and the successful maintenance of various quality standards.
We are currently inviting applications from enthusiastic and motivated individuals, to join our current QA Team working under the direction of the Head of Quality and alongside the Cancer Directorate Governance Manager who’s focus is on Governance aspects including Incidents and Risks.
Applicants will preferably have experience of auditing to ISO 9001 requirements within a healthcare setting, experience of quality managing CHKS and/or JACIE accreditation and experience of Q-Pulse. You must have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, be adaptable, flexible, and innovative. You must have the ability to work on your own as well as within a team and be highly motivated to deliver excellence.
Under the direction of the Head of Quality Management you will:
Be accountable lead for quality management across the defined service (s).
Be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of quality management for a defined service, providing expert advice, guidance and support.
Manage, co-ordinate all necessary preparation for external audit and regulatory inspections such as JACIE, CHKS, OECI, HTA, and CQC for the defined service(s) – liaising with other services as appropriate.
Manage an effective document control process focusing on the timely review of active documents and expedition of draft documents through the approval process to publication.
Promote quality improvement within the defined service(s).
Manage and perform audits for the defined service delivered by the audit schedule.
Manage and maintain an effective corrective actions process.
Manage the training and competency records for the defined service(s).
