Key Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end projects for system implementation of MLS system and system integration with other AML systems

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide End-User Support

• Provide day-to-day IT support to AHL employees, software application troubleshooting, installation, and configuration of workstation and other AHL IT equipment such as desktop computers, printers, scanners, or handheld devices etc.

What we expect

You will probably have worked as a Linux engineer (or a related low-level role), and maybe also have some Windows/Active Directory experience, and experience of using and running some cloud services. We are a small team, and we automate as much as possible, so an understanding of Python (or other programming language) is a must. Ideally some experience from configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc) and Infrastructure as code tools.

You should care about end users - this is very important to us, and we cannot afford for Infosec Engineering to be seen as a blocker to our users - we want to help users make correct choices and provide them tools for making those choices.

The Role

AHL Portfolio Management is responsible for all of AHL’s fund optimisation and allocation research along with monitoring our fund performance and reviewing our quant process. As manager of the PM Tech team, you will be responsible for AHL's simulation, analytics, and reporting infrastructure; for monitoring our gearing, allocations and implementation shortfall; along with developing and supporting our production optimisers and the engineering needed to implement any outcomes of Portfolio Management research.
