Domestic Gas Engineers required for large housing maintenance specialist with lots of work in SE London. Suitable candidates must be competent with breakdown and servicing on all domestic gas boilers.

There is a requirement for all of the engineers in the team to cover call out. This is 1 day per week, every week and rolling ( including weekend days). Out of hours are 24hr, however after 10pm will only be for major water leaks. These are paid at £40 incomplete and £50 for completions. Overtime works at 1.5 hour rate travel to job and time to complete. There are also opportunities for training and development.

The Placements and Assessment Officer will commission placements and support services for Looked After Children and care leavers, ensuring that the needs of individual children and young people are closely matched within available resources.

Main Responsibilities

As a Placements and Assessment Officer, you will be responsible for:

• To ensure QA visits to all residential and semi-independent resources where a looked after child is placed prior to placement or within agreed timescale and critically evaluate the provision against Ofsted evaluation reports.

• The post holder will be travelling within Enfield and across the country. There will be an expectation that the post holder will undertake at least 6 assessment visits per month, with the majority of placements being outside of the London Borough of Enfield.
