JOB DESCRIPTION

• Track orders and ensure timely delivery and payment of materials.
• Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terns and agreements.
• Create and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and supplier information.
• Review quality of purchased products.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products and delivery information
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis.
• Monitor stock levels and place order as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in procurement, business, supply chain, logistic or any related field.

Job Responsibility :

• Assist the project manager in project take-offs/to take off quantity for on-going projects and tender.
• To be fully in charge of BQ, materials computation and contracts preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

1) Pre-contract (Tender)

Involving/assisting with the tender team for calling quotations, taking off quantity, BQ Coding, Inking etc.

2) Post-contract (Main Contract / Sub-Contract)

- Progress Payment, Claim preparation & Submission including liaison with Project Consultants.

- Taking off / measurements of project quantities for all Building work and infra Work.

- Variation Orders compilation, preparation & submission for approval.

- Calling / Compiling all quotations from Sub-contractors & Suppliers

- Material Sample Submission for approval 

- Sub-contractors progress claim certification including site joint measurements.

- Assists in monitoring materials as required for the up-to-date work projects.

- Any other duties assigned where appropriate.
