Our Programme Management Office (PMO) supports the business to deliver its strategic objectives and priority programmes of work, including our standardisation programme. An opportunity has arisen within the PMO for the role of Project Support Officer to assist the PMO Implementation Manager and Director of PMO in delivering key projects. In this role, you will provide all aspects of project support, which will involve working closely with project teams across the group, comprising of ACG staff, clinicians, and contractors. You will ensure that projects are adequately planned, resourced, and supporting the team in delivering to high standards, on time and within set budget. The successful candidate will undertake a wide variety of tasks including communicating with stakeholders, assisting with planning the delivery of current and new projects, organising meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, guiding and supporting programme leads on managing and identifying risk and dependencies as well as updating the project planning and reporting system (Monday.com). This position is home-based but there is an expectation for travel. What you'll be working: The standard working hours for this role are as follows: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday Remote, although there will be a need to travel to ACG sites when required What you'll be doing: Manage and coordinate the administrative aspects of the PMO team, making proactive decisions that will help the team deliver to the agreed timescales. Work with colleagues in the PMO team and provide high quality administrative support Arrange programme board meetings, liaising with the programme teams and collaborators Carry out meeting administration – including booking rooms, equipment and taking, notes/minutes. Build effective relationships across the programme team Communicate accurately and diplomatically with internal colleagues and collaborators via email Deal with sensitive and contentious issues and ensure these are dealt with in an appropriate manner Provide timely information and updates on arrangements to the team and external collaborators. Work on own initiative on a day-to-day basis, autonomously, escalating any issues that may arise to appropriate person.
