Purpose of the role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development of new business sales
opportunities and acquisition of new customers in named vertical markets.
With a background of sales success within the logistics industry, you will possess a strong understanding of Movianto's key market
areas, and an active working knowledge of the Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices and Diagnostics sectors.
As an accomplished Sales professional, you will proactively engage high-value B2B Sales prospects, identifying pain-points and
delivering strategic, solutions-based propositions to secure new logo deals.
You will own a significant rolling sales target and be accountable for the attainment of named new business revenue, that is both
profitable and is strategically aligned with Movianto's growth objectives.
What you will deliver (responsibilities include)
* Identify, generate and engage with sales prospects who have a need for healthcare logistics solutions
* Build and maintain relationships with various levels of prospect stakeholders
* Presenting and promoting services to prospective clients.
* Manage prospect databases and work systematically to achieve outbound sales KPIs
* Work effectively as part of a team by engaging and forming relationships with other sales colleagues

A resilient and and persistent approach to work
An agile thinker, capable of handling client objections and manage conversations
A self-starter, able to work to set targets and achievables
Key knowledge, essential skills and experience needed
* Proven experience in a proactive, outbound sales role
* Experience in logistics, transport, warehousing or supply chain is desirable
* Understanding of healthcare terminology and language is desirable
* Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) preferable
* Proficiency in Microsoft suite products, namely Word, Excel and Outlook
