Biologics Coordinator

Full Time - Permanent

Are you passionate about providing exceptional support in the administration of high-cost biologic therapies? An exciting opportunity awaits you to become a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to elderly rheumatology patients. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary Point of Delivery team (POD), and will provide support in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed in a timely manner. The post holder will also act as the point of contact for patients regarding all administrative issues relating to the patients’ pathway of care

As a Biologics Coordinator, you will manage the administrative processes associated with biologic treatments. Working closely with consultants and the medicine administration team, you will oversee the initiation and continuation of funding pathways for these complex therapies. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will address queries from patients and colleagues, ensuring a seamless care journey.

Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating effectively with pharmacy, clinical, and multidisciplinary teams for prescription management and patient tracking.
• Maintaining accurate data and patient records to support ongoing and future treatments.
• Monitoring patient invoices and consumable orders, raising any concerns with lead specialist nurses and consultants to ensure optimal resource use.
• Organising and managing your workload to meet tight deadlines, thereby supporting clinical staff in providing efficient and timely care.

We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic and caring Healthcare Assistant, who is reliable and flexible to join our Community Continence team, covering all of Croydon.

You will be under the partnership with the team members, servicers users, general practice staff and other agencies. You will work as part of the continence nursing service and other stakeholders to provide efficient and effective nursing care to all patients their own home. You will help to support the management of patients who will require long term monitoring of the continence status, to ensure all high standards performed in a timely manner and monitor the appropriate use of containment products.

Designated Safeguarding Lead

We have named persons within the nursery who take lead responsibility for safeguarding and

co-ordinate child protection and welfare issues, known as the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL), there is always at least one designated person on duty during the opening hours of the setting.

• Driving Flatbed, RCV, Skips, or Roro vehicles to carry out commercial waste collections following Veolia procedures
  
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily

Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) - ASAP start - Croydon

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon is currently looking for an ELSA to join their dedicated and friendly team of support staff to work with children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Supporting children both individually and in small groups, including children with SEMH and SEND, the main aim for you as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant will be to help each of your key children to feel happy in school and to be able to reach their full potential, academically and personally.

As an ELSA, your key responsibilities will be:

• Planning individual and group sessions to provide mentoring and emotional support for children
• Supporting children through a number of things, such as loss and bereavement, anxiety, bullying, and anger management
• Working closely with other members of staff, including class teachers, other support staff, and the SENDCO
• Monitoring the progress of your key children
• Helping children with relaxation techniques and social skills

Prior experience working in a school or childcare setting and supporting children with SEND and/or SEMH needs is needed for this position as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant, and a strong understanding of social, emotional, and mental health challenges in children is important. A background in psychology would also be desirable, but not essential.

This is a full-time ELSA role to work Monday-Friday (8:30am-3:45pm) and to last long-term until the end of the academic year, as the children need consistent support and someone they feel they are able to trust. You will be able to see the progress your key children make across the school year, making it a very rewarding role. There is also the potential for it to become a permanent position in the future.
