As our Support Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. Typical day as a Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator)

• Creating support plans with your customers and coordinating our small team of Support Workers working to the plans.
• Customer group - homeless
• Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able.
• Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
• Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There’s no rushing from one customer to the next here! Plenty of time to collaborate with colleagues too.

You bring

• Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working collaboratively with an eye for detail.

Job details

• Where we’re flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.
• You will work on a rota, Monday to Sunday between the hours of 7am and 7pm
• Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.

Cleaner- Guildford- Meat Packing Factory- Industrial Cleaning

We are looking for a male cleaner for a meat packing factory in the Guildford- GU1 Area.

This position is starting immediately for around one month

This role is clearing up the meat factory after the butchers have finshed for the day, the work will involve cleaning up blood and fat and debris etc and will involve manual scrubbing of equipment, walls, ceilings etc… along with pressure washing and chemical foaming so is physical work and very different to office cleaning

The hours are 4.30pm to 12.30am

You will work as a member of the Community Nursing Team and be responsible for performing venepuncture on adult patients based in the community setting. The post holder will be required to work alongside a registered nurse in the community setting, delivering nursing care to people in their own homes. This post holder will perform a range of venepuncture techniques in the community setting and will work without direct supervision under the direction of the District Nurse. This will require the post holder to undertake venepuncture on adult patients ensuring all relevant policy, protocols, Phlebotomy, and other relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed. The post holder will be a role model for phlebotomy and will provide support for newly appointed community nursing and health care assistants with phlebotomy skills. You will be a good communicator, calm and have a professional manner. You will be able to work methodically and independently whilst being a good team player. The post holder will need to be able to use technology to record patient visits and be able to travel to patients homes across Guildford and Waverley. You will need to be willing to undertake the health care assistant certificate as required.
