The Multi-Channel Technology, Chief Data Officer is a position within the Veterans Experience Office (VEO), Multi-Channel Technology Directorate. This position also serves as the Division Chief over the Customer Information Services Division of MCT and will lead data driven innovations and transformations for the VA enterprise, specifically in the customer and omnichannel data domains. The Lead Medical Support Assistant (LMSA) in V16 Clinical Resource Hub is assigned to the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, Little Rock, Arkansas. The LMSA will normally work at the HUB located on 900 South Shackelford Road, Little Rock, AR or remotely. The LMSA Performs duties related to the receipt, intake and indexing of health and administrative information and will interface with personal computer (PC) applications as well as numerous Vista applications. Major duties of the Senior Level Counsel include, but are not limited to the following:

• Manages highly complex and significant special projects, including rulemaking. Selects and reviews project proposals, monitors work group needs and progress, and facilitates and expedites recommendations regarding these matters through the decision-making process.
• Coordinates the participation of the Office of Chief Counsel in the development of high-level reports and studies for use by Treasury and/or Congress.
• Personally, represents the Office of Chief Counsel and the Associate Chief Counsel (P&A) at top level IRS, DOJ and Treasury meetings and conferences, and in meetings with executives from other agencies where legal policy is developed and determined.
• Performs exhaustive and detailed research on complicated legal problems and prepares recommendations as to the position to be taken by the Office. • Addresses problems and concerns raised by Client Delivery staff on behalf of customer agencies. Investigates and oversees the investigation of source of problems and validates findings. Recommends corrective action, and resolves to the mutual benefits and satisfaction of all parties involved.
• Supervises staff assigned to the Division in the performance of work geared toward supporting and validating client agency project management requirements. This includes: establishes and plans work schedules for subordinates; establishes short and long term priorities and objectives; evaluates employee work performance; and provides guidance, advice, and counsels on all performance and personnel matters regarding branch employees. Handles disciplinary actions when necessary. Reviews and approves or denies leave requests.
