The successful candidate will work closely with postal management responsible for USPS's portfolio of tens of thousands of owned and leased facilities nationwide. The candidate must have experience drafting and reviewing complex agreements and advising clients in sophisticated transactions. The selected attorney should have expertise providing legal advice with respect to real estate matters - sales, leases, acquisitions, complex development transactions, and property management, easements, and facility construction and maintenance.

The attorney will also represent the Postal Service in contractual real estate disputes in a first-chair capacity before the Postal Service Board of Contract Appeals, primarily with respect to claims pertaining to leases.
