- £80,000 per annum At Serco, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our Group Finance team. This is a key role, responsible for leading the 5-year financial planning process, managing core financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, and delivering high-profile analysis to senior executives.
As our FP&A Manager, you will collaborate with global divisional finance teams and offshore analysts, supporting the Group’s financial performance, strategy, and M&A activities. This position provides the opportunity to enhance financial systems, influence business decisions, and work closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Group’s 5-year planning process and continuously improve forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Own and manage the Group’s Financial Planning and Analysis scenario model, ensuring enhancements are implemented effectively.
- Prepare and present financial analysis to support executive management in making key decisions on M&A, capital allocation, and refinancing.
- Collaborate with Investor Relations and Group Strategy teams, providing financial insights for external reporting and strategic initiatives.
- Support group-wide projects, including financial modelling for senior management and complex financial analysis for executive boards.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business finance teams and Accenture Centre of Excellence, to deliver continuous improvements.
What You’ll Need to Do the Role:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with demonstrable post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Expertise in financial modelling and a proven track record of utilising financial systems effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior management, influencing decisions and building strong relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on delivering high-quality presentations.
- A collaborative, innovative approach to problem-solving with a keen eye for detail.
