About the role:

The Head of Catering roles aim is to manage the back of house food-led catering operation of Perry Barr Greyhound Stadium. You will organise and supervise all kitchen and snack bar operations across your site, maintaining high food quality and complying wwith hygiene regulations. Controlling costs in general and maintaining good staff relations as well as maintaining all legal and company health, safety & HACCP standards.

As Head of Catering, you will be responsible for managing Chefs, Trainees, and Kitchen Porters, both full time, causal & agency. The remit will encompass all food preparation across your sites for both for race days and non-race days.

This role may require travel across different sites. Alongside a variable working week pattern to meet the needs of the business. Managing race days both on site, or remotely, EVH functions & events.

Responsibilities

Liaise closely with the General Manager regarding revenue budgets and cost targets. Ensure targets are met and provide explanations for deviancies.

To purchase within agreed parameters, ensuring the budgeted food GP is achieved & nominated spend targets met.

Here is what a typical day could look like for you:

As a Crematorium General Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance in various aspects of crematorium operations, this will include...

• Oversee the operation of gas-fired or electric cremators and ancillary equipment whilst also ensuring the safe custody of cremated remains left in the care of the crematorium.
• To undertake the full range of gardening, cemetery and horticultural tasks.
• Responsible for opening and closing the site gates and book of remembrance room.
• Maintain the grounds to the highest standard in accordance with recognised horticultural and grounds maintenance practices.
• Construct, place, and fix memorials and subsequently maintain them to the highest standard.
• Operate the cremators and ancillary equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping both in and outside the Chapel and ancillary rooms.
• Prepares chapels for each service considering client needs including varying religious requirements.
• Conduct witness interments and scattering of the cremated remains.
• Ensuring the consistent delivery of the highest levels of client service.

This role will suit someone who:

• Able to work effectively in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent customer service experience and ability to build rapport with people easily.
• High attention to detail is essential.
• Proactive approach and willingness to communicate effectively with a range of people, both in-person, over the phone and via email.
• Ability to successfully multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
• Computer literate in addition to experience using Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Presentable at all times, acting with professional conduct and showing empathy.

The Governing Body and Headteacher of St Mary’s CE (Aided) Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated pupil support teaching assistant (Level 2) to join our dedicated team supporting pupils with SEND.

Our teaching assistants play a vital role in the educational, personal and social development of our children. We require all our staff to be friendly, hardworking, flexible and able to use their own initiative.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and caring professional, with knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum, phonics and SEND provision and ideally an understanding or experience of either downs syndrome or autism.

Hours of work are 32. 5hrs per week (Monday Friday), term time only.

The salary for this post is £19,089 per annum.

You will:

• Join a team committed to achieving the school’s vision and values.
• Need to have had recent experience of working in a school setting
• Be expected to possess a strong knowledge of how to support individual pupils within the national curriculum.
• Have experienced additional SEND training.
• Have experience of supporting children with SEND.
• Be able to liaise with the SEND team, taking direct instruction from the class teacher and SENDCO to undertake work, care and support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils with a statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education Health Care Plan.
• Be required to attach high expectations to empathy and care.
• Be able to form strong and professional working relationships with parents and carers, colleagues and other professionals.
• Be able to exhibit a mix of hard work and initiative, with a willingness and ability to follow school policies and procedures.

Your new role
As Audit Manager, you will lead and manage audits for the firm for both local and potentially national clients. You will initially assist with completing audit files as well as managing and reviewing them as the team and firm grow. You will also have potential to get involved with other aspects of accountancy such as forensic accounting and financial due diligence as this is firm with a varied portfolio of clients and excellent opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working within an audit team in a general practice, ideally at a manager or senior level. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of an effective team and have a strong sense of accountability. Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified. Excellent organisational and time management skills will make you an excellent candidate for this role.
