The Governing Body is looking to recruit a highly committed Estate Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the premises and site are safe, clean and well maintained for our staff and pupils. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, sets high standards for themselves and takes a pride in their work.
The post is 30 hours for 52 weeks per year, with 27 days paid leave plus bank holidays. There is a requirement to work a split shift (currently 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.), and occasionally there may be the need for out of hours or additional time. Annual leave must be taken during school closure periods (school holidays).
As part of your role you will act as the first point of contact for all building and site matters and so would need to be living no more than 20 minutes from the school.

Retail Team Leader

As a Retail Stocktaking Team Leader, you will take accountability for managing teams of stock counters, delivering the end to end stock taking service while on our client's sites. Suitable candidates for the role of Quarry Manager will have:

• Diploma in Quarry Technology/FdSc Extractives Technology (or similar qualification)

• SHE NVQ Level 4 or QCF Level 6

• Knowledge of techniques employed to load extracted minerals and viable options to transport extracted minerals and its applications within the industry. This may include feeding, crushing, screening, washing, separation, classification and beneficiation techniques

• Understanding different methods of winning and extracting raw material

• Full knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work Systems

• Working knowledge of production processes, H&S and Environmental policies

• Strong drive for continuous improvement to reduce costs where possible and minimise waste streams through effective monitoring and processing

Health and Safety The post-holder will implement, lead and manage on the full range of their own and others Health, Safety and Security as defined in the Practice Health and Safety Policy, the Practice Infection Control Policy and published procedures and legislation. Support the Infection Prevention Lead to ensure all staff across the Practice adhere to their individual responsibilities for infection control and health and safety using a system of observation, audit, hazard identification, reporting and risk management. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and infection control, statutory and best practice guidelines and ensure implementation across the business. Ensure personal security systems with the workplace are adhered to across the practice. Make effective use of training to update knowledge and skills and initiate and manage the training of others. Health Inspectorate Wales (HIW) Work with the Practice Manager to ensure that the Practice meets the standards laid down by Health Inspectorate Wales (HIW). Act as a focal point within the Practice for matters pertaining to HIW standards. Other Duties Contribute to the future development of the practice by communicating ideas/patient and staff needs to the Practice Manager/Partners. Deputise for the Practice Manager in their absence. Undertake any reasonable duties as required of the post.

Day to Day responsibilities as our Assistant Manager


Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure that company targets, KPI’s, goals and standards are achieved. You will assist in the prioritisation and organisation of store activity to maximise sales
Working alongside the Store Manager to lead your team in creating a customer first culture, giving genuine, honest, and knowledgeable advice on our products, giving the best customer service and experience possible
Motivate and develop yourself and your team to achieve and exceed KPI’s and reach your full potential
Be self-aware, being able to question, learn, and take responsibility for yourself and the performance of your store alongside the Store Manager
Maintaining general store standards & cleanliness
