Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management who is based at Preston; this is a new role providing the primary point of contact and coordination for all Estates and Facilities Management services at our Burnley Campus, which include security, cleaning, catering, maintenance, caretaking and on-site Health and Safety.
Our Burnley Campus is based just outside the town centre and consist of 4 buildings:

The buildings provide teaching, office, social, commercial, and residential accommodation to University staff and students.
The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and sustainable environment for all who study, work, or live at Burnley Campus, including students, staff, visitors and partners – contributing to the attraction, recruitment and retention of students and staff. Most of the technical service delivery at the Burnley Campus will be via our appointed FM Contractor; but the post holder must have a full understanding of hard and soft services delivery and the associated compliance systems.
