About the Role:

Leisure Assistant

This is a part time vacancy - 32 hours per week

Job DescriptionThe Site Assistant role is an exciting addition to the Gloucester Academy Team. You will be required to support Greenshaw Learning Trust school sites and associated site staff in a range of duties to ensure the smooth operation of the schools. This role is based primarily at Gloucester Academy, with support to other nearby schools, e.g. Moat Primary. Main purpose of the roleThe Site Assistant will support the school’s Site Manager and the Site Team with the security and day-to-day maintenance of the school site, ensuring that the environment is clean and safe for the students, staff and visitors to the school. Working closely alongside the Directors and Store Manager you will become a vital member of the team and will be responsible for all administrative duties ensuring you uphold the highest levels of customer service at all times.

Responsibilities:
-Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, advising on the products for their needs
-Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally
-Maintain accurate customer records and update information on the database
-Process orders, repairs, and exchanges efficiently
-Manage drivers delivery routes, communicating to all staff & customers to ensure smooth deliveries
-Opening & closing the store and office
-Production of regular social media content for the business
-Overseeing the loading & unloading vans for deliveries
-Handle the disposal of old furniture as well as cardboard & plastic, booking tip runs etc
-Ensure the shop is clean & tidy as well as fully stocked with everything priced up
-Manage stock levels and assist in inventory control processes
-Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation

Candidate Attributes:
-Previous experience working in a retail setting
-Proven office skills with good IT skills and the use of Microsoft Office applications

Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our Emergency care Scheme in Gloucester supporting people in their own homes with emergency care

About the role

As a Care Assistant for our Emergency Care Scheme, you will provide care to service users living in their own homes with family members, that is flexible and responsive to their needs. This can include assisting them with daily living tasks, personal care and hygiene, light meal preparation and domestic tasks and medication. We provide 48 hour respite service whilst family carers have their own emergency, ill health or are admitted to hospital, whilst they are waiting for other options to be found. Car driver essential due to localities.

Various Shifts available, alternate weekends, full time and part time roles available

The service line is 24 hours a day whilst being on-call, you are paid 11 hours at a basic rate.

If you are called out, you maybe required to stay at the property for up to 48 hours until arrangements have been made for the client. Call out hours are paid at a higher hourly rate of pay.

1. Prepare and assemble a range of salads, sandwiches, cold buffet items and desserts for patients and retail outlets as per production schedules, ensuring standard recipes and production methods are maintained. 2. To present cold production items in the agreed format for patient services and retail outlets, ensuring high standards of presentation and yield are achieved. 3. To set up cold food displays in retail outlets as agreed with the Dining Room Supervisor/Manager. 4. To undertake general cleaning duties within the catering department and associated areas, following safe systems of work and achieving agreed standards 5. To follow departmental instructions for safe working practices within the department and ward service points and to advise management of faults or hazards with equipment or in working practices so action can be taken 6. To assist in the setting up and clearing down of central plating area. The dishing up of patients meals, ensuring that portioning and presentation are in line with departmental standards, i.e. meals for special diets are correct according to menu cards or instructions from dietitians 7. To co-operate with other members of staff to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the department. 8. To assist in the dispatch and delivery of meals for patients, visitors and staff and collection of meal trolleys from Ward areas. 9. To be responsible for the collection and disposal of waste from ones own specific work area. 10. To report to a supervisor any accident/incident immediately it occurs. 11. To maintain a clean, tidy and professional appearance. 12. To observe the correct use and care of equipment, reporting any damage, malfunction or maintenance requirements to a supervisor. 13. To observe and comply with all elements of personal hygiene with regard to the Food Safety Act and Regulations. 14. To attend any training courses identified as relevant to the post or in an effort to assist personal development. 15. To comply with all Trust Policies, Procedures and initiatives, in particular the Assured Safe Catering document. 16. To ensure that where appropriate all stock is rotated so that, on all occasions, older stock is used first. 17. To accurately complete basic departmental documentation to meet requirements of Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and Financial controls.
