The Supervisory Medical Support Assistant works collaboratively in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model. The incumbent fully participates in the daily team led huddles and weekly team meetings where patient care planning and management occur. Independently manages position responsibilities with little supervision as well as set priorities and deadlines adjusting the flow and sequencing of the work to meet team and patient needs. Plans and directs programs at satellite outpatient clinics.


Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assigning and evaluating the work of subordinate staff;
• Resolving complex problems to ensure patient services are met;
• Evaluating new products, equipment, and systems in order to make recommendations for improved operations;
• Identifying educational or training needs;
• Making final decisions on selections;
• Evaluating performance, and taking disciplinary action when necessary.
• The employee has full administrative and professional responsibility for planning and directing the MSA's activities.
• Responsible for extracting and analyzing data in order to provide reports in support of performance measures to senior management.

Catherine Infant is a large four form entry school with a 60 place nursery and a 10 place designated specialist provision (DSP) for pupils with communication and interaction needs. The school is located in Belgrave serving a community with a range of cultures. This is an exciting opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic Level 3 TA/Cover Supervisor to join our teaching team. The successful candidate will be based in our large nursery full time and will support the teacher with the planning, teaching, learning and assessment.
