We’re looking for a Facilities Assistant (Temp) to join our fantastic team based in Belfast City Centre.
What you need to do the job:
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate Excellent Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office 365 Suite. The role requires excellent IT, written and verbal communication skills. It goes without saying that you must have excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work under pressure and flexibility within a busy team. It is essential that you have the ability to work to tight schedules and pressurised deadlines.
This role requires the commitment to quality of service. Additionally, you must have an enthusiastic approach within a target orientated environment.
Essential Criteria
- Intermediate MS office skills (IT)
- Previous experience in a customer facing role in a highly professional environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of a team
- Ability to step into other roles as needed to backup and assist other teams
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments
- Ability to act on own initiative, dealing with any unexpected problems that arise
Willingness to take personal responsibility for standard of work conducted
- Willingness to maintain confidentiality on all matters
- Always present a professional appearance within your team
Desirable Criteria

- Have worked in grade A office environment or familiar setting in a facilities role
- Advanced MS office skills (IT)
- A sound knowledge of operating IT systems and PC skills
- Previous experience in helpdesk, switchboard, and reprographic duties
- Previous security experience – opening and closing of buildings
Duties and Responsibilities
Below is a list of the typical duties that will be required of Facilities Assistants
- Help Desk. Procedures, checklists, and task lists will be formulated within the team to provide coverage in all areas of FM delivery. Other duties may be added upon direction of the Help Desk Supervisor/Contract Manager to deliver the changing services required by our client.
