Location: Senja Care Home
The Senior / Executive, IT / Cybersecurity (ITCE) will assist the Senior Manager (IT) to plan, implement and manage organisation-wide IT infrastructure and IT-related systems in Vanguard. The ITCE will render IT operational support which includes the provision of IT services, troubleshooting, managing IT assets, IT procurement etc. He/she will also coordinate and work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the IT systems can provide associated IT services to our residents and staff.
· Assist the Information Technology / Cybersecurity Manager to plan and implement new IT support services and initiatives for residential care, day care, respite care or other services as necessary
· Manage day-to-day IT operations of Vanguard entities. These include:
a. Maintaining and reviewing IT policies to ensure that they are kept up-to-date and relevant for the current set up.
b. Preparing for yearly audit of IT Infrastructure and ensuring all documentation is kept up-to-date.
c. Conducting regular system audit for IT effectiveness, efficiency and security
d. Managing outsourced vendors contracted to provide IT services such as.:
i. EUC devices support
ii. Login user accounts
iii. Mailbox licenses management & renewal
iv. Creation & deletion of mailboxes as necessary
v. Procurement of new EUC devices, MS licenses and installation of software
vi. IT security
vii. Regular system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
viii. Review security logs on access, password management and accounts
e. Assisting to maintain and manage all IT contracts and renewals
f. Overseeing the maintenance of Vanguard website and Domain name
g. Providing IP Telephony support:
i. Obtain approval from Head, Corporate Services to install IP Telephony system for the new Care Home / Senior Care Centre sites
ii. Coordinate with the Care Home Operations team and vendor to deploy IP Phones
iii. Manage and work with vendor to resolve any IP Telephony problem
· Assist the Information Technology / Cybersecurity Manager to plan, implement and manage all IT network, systems and data security measures against cyber-attacks.
· Conduct IT security awareness training programs and workshops for staff
· Provide regular operation system reports to Head, Corporate Services
· Identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement
· Work with all stakeholders to identify and provide responsive support on IT requirements
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Educational Requirements & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in IT-related field with at least 2-years working experience
- Qualification in IT professional certifications like CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, ITIL and CISSP etc
- Possess strong troubleshooting and good problem-solving IT skills in relation to diagnosing and solving both technical hardware / software faults
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Minimally 2-years’ experience in Microsoft Windows software, HP Networks, Microsoft Servers and Fortinet Firewall.
- Knowledge of cyber security and cloud computing will be an advantage.

- Has good organizational skill and ability to identify and resolve IT issues in a timely manner
