A UK Ministry of Defence partner is currently searching for an experienced Digital Learning Specialist to help them enhance their learning transformation strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the digital learning strategy to support MBDA's overall learning vision, as well as helping the business deliver its priorities. The work schedule will be hybrid, requiring two days of on-site work per week. This opportunity may lead to a contract extension or a permanent position.
As part of the Digital Learning and Innovation team, you will work closely with the L&D UK team and suppliers to create cutting-edge learning solutions composed of inspiring digital experiences and resources.
What we're looking for:
- The ideal candidate should thoroughly understand the Digital Learning Ecosystem and tools such as Storyline, Adobe, or Camtasia.
- An excellent understanding of the processes involved in designing and developing training materials.
- One should be able to work with different learning technologies and effectively use new development tools.
- Strong stakeholder management ability to inspire and influence
- One's ability to create a blended learning experience that is highly engaging and can align with the desired business outcomes is crucial.
- Knowledge of the learning project cycle and digital learning methods: Agile development, ADDIE-based project lifecycle;
- Project management expertise, as well as good planning and organisational skills. Additionally, the candidate should have relevant experience in the field.
- Experience or desire to work in a multicultural context
What you'll get to do as a Digital Learning Specialist (L&D):
- Develop and execute a digital learning strategy for the UK that aligns with our overall learning vision for the business.
- Implement a Digital Learning Lab to capture essential knowledge from experts and subject matter experts.
- Assess the UK learning catalogue and the number of courses that can be transformed into a blended or full digital learning format.
- Collaborate with the UK L&D team to design digital learning solutions and establish design standards and practices for digital learning.
- Upskill internal trainers to design high-quality virtual learning and develop digital learning resources.
- Support the rollout of a Virtual Instructor Training Platform, manage and promote Digital Learning throughout the UK business, and communicate effectively internally and externally.
- Manage a range of partners and suppliers.
