At Vermi Industries Sdn Bhd, we are a forward-thinking company focused on expanding our presence in the modern trade market. We are currently seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Executive to cover hypermarkets, supermarkets, and other key outlets in the Penang, Perak & Kedah area.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least diploma or above qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the retail landscape and key players in the Penang, Perak & Kedah area.
- At least 3 years of field sales experience preferably in an FMCG environment.
- Must be responsible, result-oriented, outgoing pleasant personality, mature, good interpersonal communication skills.
- Mandarin speaking will be an advantage. (Have to deal with China customer)
- Willing to travel locally for client visits and store checks.
- Candidates from Penang or Perak are highly encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting hypermarkets, supermarkets, and other modern trade outlets in the Penang, Perak & Kedah area.
- Experience in starting up and growing a trading business, including market entry strategies, supplier relationships, and distribution channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with key buyers and decision-makers in the modern trade sector.
- Negotiate and secure listings, promotional activities, and product placement to boost brand visibility and sales.
- Monitor in-store activities, including stock levels, displays, and competitor products, to ensure optimum product performance.
- Track and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure timely product delivery and effective in-store execution.
- To attend training, meeting, and troubleshoot customers' problems.
- To participate in sales campaigns, promotion and product launchings.
- Monitoring and tracking of sales achievement, return, collection & etc.
