Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Lead Generation Marketing Analyst plays an essential role in helping drive new account acquisition for Amcor by working in the initial phases of lead qualification, sales outreach, and potential customer inquiries.
Lead Qualification: Amcor regularly engages in marketing campaigns to drive awareness and interest in its products and services. As potential customers show interest in Amcor, the Lead Generation Marketing Analyst plays a key role in qualifying these potential customers and equipping the sales team with the information required to sell effectively. This position will help determine if these opportunities are a good fit for Amcor and the potential customer. Assuming a good fit, this role will enable the sales team by assembling key facts about the lead, e.g. location, estimated revenue, key contacts, markets the lead sells into, etc.
Initial Point of Contact for Inquiring Leads: This role acts as the first point of contact for inbound leads. They respond to inbound web leads and gather qualifying information from the lead before passing off to the appropriate account manager or business development manager.
Sales Funnel Reporting: As Amcor expands its efforts into acquiring new accounts, good reporting is essential to assess and learn from our performance. This position will ensure good tracking and follow-up into Salesforce.com
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Lead Qualification
- Research and qualify leads generated by the company’s outreach efforts. This qualification will include market analysis and learnings about the lead
- Review and refine quality and results of the leads generated with Sales / BD teams
- Interact with Integrated sales and Global/Regional sales teams
- Interact with areas of support for processual leads that are not at buying stage
- Interact with Marcom on inbound initiatives that impacts the lead qualification process
Initial Point of Contact for Inquiring Leads:
- This position will handle all incoming leads and management of the leads queue in SFDC.com
- This position will manage and respond to initial inquiries by email and or phone calls.
Reporting and Communications
- This position will report on key factors in the company’s new account sales funnel via Salesforce.com.
- This position will ensure visibility to these factors at multiple levels in the organization.
Cross-functional Partnership
- Collaborate with Strategic Marketing and Sales teams to gather information and market insights
- Collaborate closely with Sales (e.g. Business Development Managers)
- Build weekly and monthly reports of key KPIs of the lead qualification process
Challenges & Complexities
- This position will likely need to juggle immediate needs such as text, call or email responses with longer term needs including reporting and learnings from the company’s Lead Generation efforts
Communications
- This role will be the first point of contact for many customers contacting Amcor Healthcare. As such, this position requires a customer service mind and skill set.
- Additionally, this person will be a natural partner to the sales organization and collaborate closely with them. Both on the upfront qualified leads, as well as the associated reporting in Salesforce.com.

- A four year college degree or equivalent experience with an emphasis on marketing, economics, business administration, finance, or engineering preferred.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
