Job summary
1) Responsible to carry out the overall sampling & inspection of wet towel, liquid products and packaging materials.
2) Responsible for the cleanliness & tidiness of the premix, mixing & chemical room.
3) To work as part of a R&D/QA/QC team.
Area of responsibilities
1) Conducts sampling and inspection of wet towel during in-process and finished products.
2) Inspects imported finished products samples from Freshening Overseas. Example – Freshening China, Freshening Indonesia.
3) Calibrate equipment for In-house verification (weekly calibration for some equipment). Example – PH meter, weighing scale
4) Inspects machine prior to start-up production (Accomplish Daily Start-Up Check Form).
5) Conducts inspection of raw materials before or during production run. Example - Incoming paper, wrappers, and packaging materials.
6) Assist in attaching appropriate tags (HOLD, REJECTED, APPROVED) on the material/product. It is also his/her responsibility that stocks are properly segregated and that no admixture happens.
7) Ensures daily collection of “retained samples” at production area and act as a retain samples and reference (standard) samples custodian.
8) Ensures all Batch records (QC and Production sheets and Mixing records) are checked and accomplished on time.
9) Conduct inspection of returned goods by customer.
10) Conduct microbial tests on DI Water every start of the week.
11) Check alcohol content and specific gravity of the mixed alcohol solution.
12) Counter check chemicals measured by Mixer Operator for compounding. Sign mixing room record once conformed. Check the solution for smell, pH, SG and Viscosity (if applicable).
13) Ensure that the QC room is tidy at all times and maintain the safety and good housekeeping of hazardous/flammable laboratory supplies by ensuring proper storage.
14) Assist in ISO audits and preparation.
15) Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.
Competency requirements
1) Minimum GCE ‘O’ level.
2) Understand simple English and Mandarin to communicate with Operators.
3) Background in Cosmetic, Medical Science, Chemistry will be an added advantage.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday: 8 00am to 4 45pm (45 mins break)
Saturday: 8 00am to 12 00pm
