The Quality Control Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of products and processes by performing various administrative and inspection tasks. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Administrative Tasks
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, files, and databases.
2. Assist in document control, including revising and distributing quality procedures and policies.
Inspection and Testing
1. Conduct visual inspections of products, materials, and packaging.
2. Verify simple product conformity to specifications, drawings, and standards.
3. Perform sampling inspections and testing as required.
4. Document inspection results, nonconformities, and corrective actions.
Quality Control Processes
1. Identify and report quality issues, defects, or nonconformities.
Communication and Collaboration
1. Liaise with production, procurement, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
2. Communicate quality requirements and standards to suppliers and vendors.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve quality processes.
REQUIREMENTS
Education level:
1. Min. Higher Nitec/Diploma level ME/Mechatronic or it relevant.
Experience level:
1. 1-2 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or related field.
2. Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries preferred.
Skills:
1. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
3. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
4. Proficient in MS Office.
Certifications:
1. Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification desirable.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
2. Lift up to 12kg occasionally.
3. Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
