At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
• Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of the floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms (plus other ad hoc areas).
• Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern
• Managing the ordering of stock and consumables, updating the stock management system and also the distribution to cleaning cupboards.
• You will come into regular contact with customers/clients so it is important that you can assist them if needed and that you can communicate at all levels.

Duties will include Grass / Lawn Cutting, Edging, Strimming, Hedge cutting, Litter Picking and Weed control and all gardening/grounds maintenance duties, using mowers and powered tools.

Experience and a driving license are essential.

Permanent roles are available after a successful probation period

Pay rate for drivers while working with us candidates can choose to be paid £13.45 per hour with no paid holiday or £12+ holiday pay. Whenever you are permanent with the company (after around 13 to 15 weeks) you will be paid £12+ holiday pay

The working hours are 7.00am to 3pm Monday to Friday
