Meridian Business Support are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading independent accident repair groups to recruit for an Bodyshop MET Technician in Kettering.
Our client have 30+ sites throughout the UK and have partnered with most major insurance companies and vehicle manufacturers to ensure quality and care are at the forefront.
The role of a Bodyshop MET Technician is to dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles in accordance with the repair estimate whilst following, checking the methods and procedures as issued on every job.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that quality checks are undertaken in line with our process, this includes providing direct supervision to non-qualified staff
- Ensure that all jobs are completed within the estimated times
- Advise the Bodyshop Team Leader of any additional work identified when working on a vehicle
- Check that all parts are ordered as per estimate, to ensure that the repair can be completed without delay, returning all unused parts to the parts department for credit
- To be aware of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment
Due to the size and complexity of the establishment, you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability.
The successful candidates would preferably be ATA accredited and have 5 years experience in a similar role.
Pay and Benefits:
From £38,000 to £55,000 (OTE – includes site bonus and is dependable on experience and qualifications)
Hours are 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday, 30-minute lunch break.
