Salary: £42,588 annum plus annual bonus
Hours: 12 hour shifts working nights, days and weekends
Working on rota as part of a 5 man team covering the plant 24 hours a day 365 days a week.
14 shifts covered every 35 days
Holiday entitlement included as part of the shift rota

What you'll be doing;
- Managing the day to day operations of the evaporation plant from raw material to final product
- Using SCADA to manage and adjust plant parameters to optimise production
- Regularly monitor and document plant parameters to ensure production intermediates and final products remain within the required specification
- Manage production rates and volumes to ensure all tank capacities and product volumes are managed
- Collect production samples from specified stages of the production process and complete the necessary laboratory tests to ensure ongoing compliance
- Document in detail all process activities, actions and testing results
- Manage operational assets so they are always available and operating at their optimum. Including flushing pipework, cleaning equipment and firefighting inline blockages
- Firefighting plant issues as and when they arise to minimise production loss
- Maintain effective communication with the client's production team and ensuring they are regularly updated with plant availability
- Managing chemical stocks and advising when these need to be replenished
- Working to plant SOP's at all times
- Maintaining and contributing to the site's Safety Culture
What we're looking for;
- Experience of working in the chemical industry or experience of working in a production environment
- Some engineering experience desirable but not required
- A good understanding of health and safety
- FLT licence desirable but not required
- SCADA knowledge desirable but not required
- IT proficiency - experience of working with either Microsoft Office or Google Drive
