Your role will be to manage complex digital projects, working closely with the client, our Functional Consultants and Product Team in order to to keep them on course all while delivering an outstanding client experience. You will be the key client contact with overall ownership of the timeline, budget and client relationship, with a focus on translating (sometimes complex!) client needs into actionable tasks for the team.

The role will span the full project lifecycle (discovery, specification, design, configuration and development, data/content migration, testing and training), with your focus throughout being to maintain momentum on all fronts - ensuring resources are in place and deliverables completed on time, on budget and to an excellent standard.

Our client projects often (but not always) run in a waterfall process, whereas many of our teams internally adopt agile methodologies; so an understanding of both methodologies is essential.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day communication with clients, including weekly calls during active projects
- Prioritise development items for our engineering teams to work through
- Manage project timelines, working with clients and internal teams to keep projects on track and manage expectations where needed
- Working closely with technical teams internally to manage scope
- Monitor and proactively manage project performance against budget
- Attend Project Board meetings and prepare supporting slides/materials

Experience sought:
- 3+ years experience delivering technical digital projects including websites
- A compulsive list maker, organiser and executer
- Previous experience working in a digital agency is essential
- The ability to grasp concepts quickly

RMH is currently looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join at an exciting time of change in the Trust. You will manage multiple high-value strategic projects from their inception to the end of the project lifecycle across various clinical and non-clinical settings. The post is based at our offices in Wallington, however, travel to and from other NHS sites will be part of the role's requirement. With over three years of healthcare background and a track record of project delivery, the Senior Project Manager will be a good communicator with proven leadership ability and matrix management experience. The Senior Project Manager will be highly qualified for the PRINCE2 practitioner level and seek to develop the team's professional skills through peer review and personal development whilst ensuring that each team member delivers project outputs to a high standard, on time and to budget.

The post-holder will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of a number of strategic clinical initiatives, including, but not limited to:
• The programme of work that will deliver refreshed clinical technologies to laboratories across the Trust. This consists of a complex set of sub-projects, supported by an experienced subject matter expert. You will report activity, progress, risk and issues to appropriate project and programme boards.
• The development and delivery of a process of a technology refresh programme for clinical laboratory technology, including analysers, scanners, and point of care devices.
• Adhoc clinical technology projects as required by the programme manager or wider senior leadership team in RM Digital.
The post-holder will be responsible for delivering projects on time, to budget and to agreed quality standards that meet business needs. The appointee will liaise with the key stakeholders from the business and the Digital Diagnostics Programme, working closely with other Programme and Project Managers and Workstream Leads.
The post-holder will be expected to play a major role in the planning stage of the DHR Replacement project, with an emphasis on the delivery of the initiatives that will support the long-term objectives for diagnostic services across the Trust.
