Fire and Security Project Manager required to manage UK fire safety and building security projects including risk assessments, audits, contractor delivered works and follow up actions including repairs and maintenance services. Skills

Experience working in a housing or contracting business facilities delivery role.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage fire safety and security projects ensuring they are properly resourced and operating within appropriate financial policies, procedures and budgets.

Agree monitoring arrangements for uptake and provide monthly reports against implementation plans. These reports will go to the Clinical Innovation Adoption Oversight Group, programme boards and NHSE. Identify risks and issues that are preventing rollout and escalate these (and plans for mitigation) to the CIA Oversight Group. Set up and manage innovation pipeline documentation for ease of access for HIOTV programmes and regional partners. Use the suite of high quality project templates for technology adoption to manage the process of market analysis, implementation and measuring/monitoring for projects. Work with the project and programme leads to ensure documentation is of a high quality and proportionate to the size and risk of the projects and programmes. Lead on set up and delivery of study design, real world evaluation and service evaluation. Attend and contribute to the relevant programme boards. Ellison Institute of Technology will continue the Institute's work in cancer research, disease prevention, and global health policy, along with providing educational programming for students from around the globe.

• To work with the planning team to develop detailed and accurate short term programmes of work
• To assess the staff capability and performance
• To manage the budget and delivery of the section of the project
• To provide accurate and timely reporting of progress against the plan
• To ensure adoption of innovative ideas from within the business and from the workforce
• To plan the programming of day to day resource requirement and communicate these to the construction team
• To interface with other construction managers and section managers to share best practice and ensure effective resource utilisation
• To monitor external changes to work plans and report the effect of change
• To lead section meetings to review Safety, Quality, Progress and Design. Achievement of commercial requirements
• To ensure effective implementation Laing O Rourke project management systems and procedures
• Contribute to the contract review process
• Client and tenant liaison
• Assist with design development
• To act as person responsible for permit to work procedures

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in Construction Management or Civil Engineering - essential
• Extensive experience in Project Management capacity on projects over the value of £200mil
