Job Function:

About the role:

The Application Security Testing Engineer reports to the Senior Manager and assists with the security testing activities for BMO based applications. • Understands and supports the IT Security Information Protection initiatives that support overall IT Security Operations goals and objectives

Summary of This Role

Develops, configures, documents, and maintains information security solutions.  Installs and configures web proxies, SIEMs, web application firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint monitoring software, and vulnerability scanning systems.  Monitors and responds to alerts.  Ensures that threats and vulnerabilities to the organization’s business systems and applications (both in-house and cloud-based) are minimized.  Evaluates web application security controls and performs validation testing as needed.  Evaluates information security configurations when intrusions have occurred and monitors the effectiveness of implemented changes.  Monitors overall compliance with security standards and conducts periodic security reviews.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

• The Security Lead Workday is responsible for  the Security Architecture Design overall and to define solution approaches for Workday security configuration changes across multiple roles, overseeing and coordinating Workday production security changes ensuring consistency of security role design across the Workday platform in implementation projects and in the support model going forward based on approved business needs.
• The role is responsible for the correct configuration and maintenance in Workday Security, based on approved and aligned requirements, approaches and policies in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders like global process owners & sub-functional workstream leads.
• The role considers global vs local change guidelines, data privacy, and audit requirements.
• The role leads  audits regarding security and access working closely with auditors and the functional configuration SMEs.
• Supports Workday configuration solutioning beyond Security where applicable

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Min 5 years professional experience with Workday HCM implementation and/or maintenance, with a strong focus on Security/being a Security Lead
• Deep Expertise in Workday Security, Workday Configuration in any area is a plus
• Experience within a global and multinational company as employee or as a consultant implementing and/or maintaining Workday in  collaboration with internal and external teams as an expert
• Proven track-record in working collaboratively and virtually across international teams
• Customer facing support experience
• Experience with Data Privacy and Audit requirements
• Fluent business language skills in English written and spoken, additional language is a plus

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure accessibility of Workday tenants, ensure compliance of security changes and a manageable security concept.
• Understand the business and HR  requirements suggesting solutions with pros and cons and improvements when and where applicable in close collaboration with the HR stakeholders on Workday Security
• Support company audits on Workday Security
• Work closely with legal, data protection and works councils to ensure security set up is compliant with requirements
• Support Test activities
• Oversee access requests in alignment with the security approach and strategy (“Security” means “Permission Concept”, who is allowed to see what)
• Define role-based and user-based security, and aligns with functional SMEs  to ensure business processes reflect the agreed upon roles
• Identify new enhancements, review feature release opportunities and liaise with the global process stakeholders and HR process experts. Provide subject matter expertise on overall Workday configuration and security capabilities and options
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills and data/fact driven approach to problem solving
• Strong influencing and communications skills including the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and dealing successfully with stakeholders on all levels
• Ability to work and deliver results across geographies and effectively engage different people and teams

The position supports a law firm environment, which includes lawyers, paralegals, and other administrative staff. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and be able to work with little-to-no supervision. This role is part of a larger team that optimizes legal workflows and prepares court documents and communications. Attention to detail and timely work are important to meet court deadlines. The Legal & Administrative Consultant will use independent decision-making, good judgment, and discretion in handling highly confidential and sensitive information.  All work will be performed in Washington D.C.

What You Will Need:

• An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance.

• One (1) or more years of legal clerical or administrative support experience.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience with litigation case management systems

• Ability to coordinate intake of new cases and requests for work on existing cases, case files and tracking records, organizing documentation electronically and in paper case files, and communicating case information to case teams.

• Experience tracking progress on cases, including checking Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) notifications and reporting progress. 

• Experience in document scanning and copy.

• Experience preparing files for hearings and trials, assemble binders, packing and preparing information for delivery.

Consistently deliver complex, innovative, and complete SAP security solutions, driving them through all phases of the software development lifecycle following agile principles

Work with different teams and IT partners in various locations providing software engineering services to internal customers, such as: Problem / requirements analysis.

Required Qualifications:
