Trust Finance Officer (Cheam Academies Network Multi-academy Trust) • Contract Term: Permanent • Contract Length: Full-time, all year round or reduced working weeks during school holiday periods. • Salary: £55k - £65k starting salary (FTE), depending on experience and qualifications with progression range to be agreed on appointment • Pension: Employer contributions 21% of salary • Hours: 30 - 36 hours per week across 5 days or delivered more flexibly • Start Date: asap after January 2024 For those looking for a very important and stimulating role in an ambitious multi-academy trust, this Trust Financial Officer (TFO) position could be the right next step for you. This is a very important role within the Trust, which will give the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to contribute to the Trust’s work. You would work closely with the CEO and Trust Board to implement, monitor, review and develop financial systems and procedures within the Trust, ensuring that the Trust meets regulatory requirements and remains in good financial health. This will involve advising and supporting school finance teams and holding them to account and taking a leadership role. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong finance, analytical and communication skills. Previous work in schools is not required for those with the relevant transferable skills. The role can be full-time, or be delivered more flexibly, depending on what is required to secure the right candidate.
