Duties:
The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Health Systems Specialist - Asst. C&P Manager. They are responsible for assisting the Credentialing and Privileging Manager with the operation of the Credentialing and Privileging Program Office at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) or Health Care System (HCS) and is responsible to provide extensive support in the management of Credentialing and Privileging program activities.
Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Assists the Credentialing and Privileging Manager with oversight of all functions related to healthcare providers' professional credentials supporting all divisions of the Medical Center.
• Working collaboratively with local and VISN leadership to identify and/or implement best practices and advising Medical Center leadership of all program requirements pertaining to the Credentialing and Privileging program in collaboration with the Credentialing and Privileging Manager.
• Ensure quality assurance and assist the Credentialing and Privileging Manager with providing oversight for the Medical Center Credentialing and Privileging program.
• Assists the Manager with outlining the VAMC Credentialing and Privileging Program goals and objectives, identifies risks, supervise the Credentialing and Privileging office specialists, ensures training and education, and completes second level reviews as appropriate.
• Provides direct technical and administrative supervision to subordinate unit employees in the VAMC's Credentialing and Privileging Office.
• Identifies and presents to leadership the resources necessary for accomplishing the mission and function of the facility's Credentialing and Privileging program.
• Develops, modifies, and/or interprets performance standards.
• Provides advice, counsel, and instruction to employees on work and administrative matters.
• Identifies developmental and training needs of employees.
• Hears and resolves issues and complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to higher-level officials as needed.
• In the absence of the C&P Manager, serves as the primary consultant for the facility's Credentialing and Privileging program.
• Applies organizational and system-wide strategies for continuous quality improvement as they relate to Credentialing and Privileging processes and procedures.
• Implements mechanisms to monitor and evaluate completed tasks for their compliance with established policies and procedures as well as quality of customer service.
• Assists with developing, coordinating, and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow in the program or section area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Monday - Friday

Starting at $72,553 Per Year (GS 11)

Responsible for the total administration of the unit as well as the planning, development and implementation of individual programs tailored to meet the particular needs of inmates in the unit.

Responsible for supervising a staff which consists of correctional treatment specialists, correctional counselors, and unit secretaries.

Responsible for the quality control of entering accurate Financial Responsibility Program data, all progress reports, transfer recommendations, correspondence with probation officers, attorneys, judges, and others.

Responsible for the completion of all requirements in regard to Victim/Witness Protection notification and Central Inmate Monitoring packets, as well as observation cases under a variety of sentencing and pre-sentence/pre-trial statutes, with appropriate recommendations to the Bureau and the courts.

Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.

5+ years' success in a Quality system position with a 3+ years' successful experience in a quality leadership

• Experience working with customers, regulators and suppliers
• Strong leader capable of working successfully in matrix organisation, as part of a cross-functional team to drive impactful results

The Operations Leader will be responsible for the management of multiple departmental functions and leaders for the national EBTech team. This person will lead their departments forward through leadership and strategic/innovative thinking, always striving to drive higher effectiveness, efficiency, and quality through continuous improvement.  This leader is also responsible for the daily tactical performance of their departments leaders, ensuring that our clients are highly satisfied with their interactions with EBTech and the results we produce for them.  The Leader will play a key role in leading and expanding customer relationships and will have the opportunity to grow their project management, consulting, customer management, leadership, health and welfare knowledge, and business acumen. The Leader will also collaborate with other Brown & Brown lines of business to develop, implement, and maintain technology–based solutions and services that meet customer requirements and EBTech commitments.

General Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the overall performance of assigned departments.

• Provide leadership and coordination between assigned departments and with other parts of the EBTech practice.

• Drive exceptional, consistent project management for concurrent projects, and exceptional customer service throughout the client life cycle.

• Develop and maintain systems and metrics (KPIs) to analyze the health of our services and diagnose concerns to be acted on in order to promote the highest quality service delivery.

• Engage in data-driven resource planning to secure needed personnel for both current and future demands.

• Drive results with all parties (EBTech/account team/customer/carriers).

• Serve as a point of escalation for high-value customers and/or account teams.

• Follow organizational and line of business processes, protocols and quality standards in the development and deployment of solutions.

• Represent EBTech in a professional manner in every interaction with outside parties.

• Meet regularly with senior and executive leadership and assigned department leaders to strategize and implement positive changes.

• Oversee timely and accurate completion of all team tasks.

• Continually provide review and feedback to team members.

• Participate in business development calls as needed to help sell new projects.

• Evaluate and utilize technology to drive efficiencies.  Implement best practices with a technology first mindset.

• Other duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent comparable experience.

• 10+ years of experience with team management with a focus on Benefits Administration or Comparable Software implementation and support

• Deep understanding of employee benefits, HRIS, Payroll or equivalent programs and implementation requirements

• Proficient with MS Office Suite

• Exceptional/professional presentation skills

• Proven ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with team members in other practices and at all levels to effectively sell and deliver on customer needs.

• A professional presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

• Licensure in Life and Health Insurance or the ability to obtain producers license within one year of employment.

• Ability to travel up to 15-20% of the time.

We are recruiting for an Assistant Technical Manager for an NHS provider. This role will be a mobile role and will entail a level of independant working depending upon contracts.

The Assistant Technical Manager role will form part of the Technical Services Department, providing a Centre of Excellence covering technical and water safety expertise, ensuring guidance and support is given across the company by:

Role objectives:
* Providing specialist technical guidance - acting where necessary as the subject matter expert (SME) for the company.
* Delivering support across the organisation with effective knowledge of engineering systems, to include Ventilation systems, Water Management, Medical Gas Systems, Pressure Systems, Boilers and Electrical infrastructure.
* As part of the Technical Services Team, support as required specific localised water safety group meetings.
* Support the business, providing subject matter expertise, advice, and support on water safety.
* Providing the assurance to the organisation that LIFTCo's/FMCo's deliver compliance with all statutory regulations, Health Technical Memoranda, professional guidance, and industry best practice with respect to all building systems.
* Being the intelligent client with a focus on the technical elements of the estate, variations, projects, future methods of construction and lifecycle.
* Providing expertise to draft remit and procure specialist advice from supply chain specialists.
* Providing technical support relating to "end of term", lifecycle, building condition, technical specification, and costings.

Qualifications:

* Recognised engineering qualification e.g., Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience.
* Recognised qualification in Water Safety e.g., Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience.
* MBA/MSc Engineering - Desirable but not essential
* Professional Affiliation e.g., CIBSE - Desirable but not essential
* Legionella Responsible Persons - Desirable but not essential
