Changing Lives Learning Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Manager to perform an integral role in delivering a high quality, efficient and effective HR service for the Trust.

You will work in conjunction with an established HR team and be responsible for managing and delivering day-to-day HR operations ensuring support is provided for Headteachers, senior leaders, and staff across the Trust, while aiding the implementation and application of all human resource policies and procedures.

You will have responsibility for case management and lead on policy development as well as ensuring the team meets statutory requirements in relation to safeguarding, recruitment and HR procedures.

Position Summary

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality talent acquisition, onboarding support and guidance to a variety of Schools and departments across the University in Vietnam. You will work closely with HRBP’s, Hiring Managers, Heads of Schools and Departments to understand their hiring needs and provide them with effective and innovative resourcing solutions. Key Accountabilities

Partnership and communication

•     Build and maintain trusting relationships with key stakeholders across the business and externally

•     Partner with hiring managers and/or HR Business Partners to determine talent needs, develop and execute immediate and long-term recruitment strategies to meet unit business objectives and needs

•     Provide strategic recruitment consultation and proactive sourcing strategy to hiring managers to meet talent acquisition needs, positively influencing recruitment outcomes to ensure top talent is recruited to RMIT Vietnam.

•     Follow the established policies and procedures and communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders involved in the recruitment and selection process

•     Showcase RMIT Vietnam's employer brand and engage more potential candidates by managing and updating the recruitment content and messages on various platforms such as RMIT website, intranet, external sourcing channels, WorkDay, etc.

Talent Acquisition

•     Partnering with the business and across a range of key stakeholders create and provide innovative and sustainable talent acquisition solutions.

•     Managing full-cycle recruitment activities including job briefing, job advertisement, sourcing, screening and evaluating candidates, participating in panel interview with Hiring Managers and supporting final selection process, offer, reference checking, offer and onboarding.

•     Developing talent attraction, sourcing channel strategies and search strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool for assigned requisitions and future hiring demands, including but not limited to passive candidate sourcing using direct sourcing methods such as Boolean Search, LinkedIn networking, etc.

•     Managing and providing a positive candidate experience and maintaining responsive and effective communication with deep understanding of multinational cultures, candidate motivation, and expectation.

•     Work collaboratively with extended HR Team to ensure employment offers and other HR administration is completed and that the handover of new staff from Recruitment to HR Operations is seamless.

•     Provide advice and support relating to applicable recruitment regulatory requirements and compliance

•     Contribute to the continuous improvements of the recruitment process, systems and ways of working.

Reporting

•     Ensure data integrity is always maintained and regularly provide recommendations for system improvements.

•     Support analysis and reporting on different recruitment metrics including but not limited to sourcing channels, recruitment pipelines, onboarding, etc.

•     Contribute to budget planning activities and workforce planning projects as required

Coaching, mentoring and collaborating

•     Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to more junior members of the TA team and the wider HR team, to positively influence business outcomes and behaviours and to ensure ‘best practice’ is adhered to.

•     Provide training and guidance for new joiner to the TA Team

•     Support and collaborate with other team members to achieve their development goals with regards to recruitment related project activities.

Key Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree qualification in field relevant to Human Resources.

• Strong experience in Talent Acquisition working for highly matrixed international organisation

• Internal recruitment experience is desirable.

• Previous experience of guiding, advising and consulting with expatriate staff is essential.

• Ability to work strategically with hiring managers to forecast future recruitment needs and provide a wide range of sustainable sourcing solutions to ensure effective recruitment of both international and local candidates.

• Demonstrated ability to provide innovative resourcing solutions to key clients across the organisation

• Ability to lead, drive and effectively influence outcomes.

• Expert level proficiency in candidate management and HR Information Systems (HRIS) and/or Application Tracking Systems (ATS)

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on multicultural communication and influence.

English Proficiency

Position Summary

We are seeking a recruiter to join our team and help us to attract and hire talented individuals to teach in our academic institution.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the academic landscape, experience in faculty recruitment, and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and stakeholders.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of technology and experience using talent acquisition systems, including Applicant Tracking, Candidate Relationship Management, social media, and other predictive tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified faculty members across various departments and disciplines.

• Collaborate with department chairs and hiring committees to understand their faculty needs and requirements.

• Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, professional networks, and social media to identify and engage with potential candidates.

• Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure that they meet the institution's hiring standards and qualifications.

• Develop and maintain relationships with academic institutions and professional organizations to source and attract talent.

• Participate in recruitment events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to promote the institution and its faculty opportunities.

• Responsible for data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System, Candidate Relationship Management, and other systems.

• Serve as an employer brand champion to effectively build relationships and market employment opportunities within Dallas College.

• Improve brand attractiveness by having a full understanding of our employer value proposition, business model, and culture.

• Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. Proven recruiting experience or 3 years in similar role, or Associate degree with 5 years of experience.

• Knowledge of academic hiring processes, policies, and procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with candidates and stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

• Professional HR certification is preferred (e.g., SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP).

• Experience with Workday preferred.

Summary

The Senior Human Resources Partner, Student Employment serves as an HR generalist and performs a variety of duties in support of the human resources function including but not limited to recruitment, placement, training, and employee relations. The Senior HR Partner will lead and support the student employment job placement process and respond to all policy and procedure inquiries. Additionally, the Senior HR Partner will collaborate with the office of financial aid to validate student aid awards prior to job placement as well as track and communicate federal work-study hours to both supervisors and students. The Senior HR Partner will also be responsible for providing information and assistance to faculty, and staff related to job postings, hiring, onboarding, and separation of employment. Additional duties will include projects related to the Federal Work-Study program and student employment such as recognition awards, benchmarking analysis, student retention metrics, and conducting training for both supervisors and students. Additionally, the Senior HR Partner will serve as the primary backup to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will be the first point of contact for Talent Acquisition needs in the absence of the Talent Acquisition Manager.

This is a hybrid position however in-office presence will be required for the first three months, and at the beginning of the academic year along with the flexibility to attend specific evening and weekend open house sessions.  

Essential Functions

Serves as the Senior Human Resources Partner by completing various functions to include:

• Providing guidance to all hiring managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.

• Posting all vacant student, faculty, and staff positions utilizing Workday HR Recruiting applicant tracking system. Ensuring job titles and postings are consistent university’s practices.

• Screening applications and resumes and providing hiring managers with qualified candidates via Workday HR Recruiting.

• Coordinating and conducting applicant interviews when applicable. 

• Conducting background reference checks for all employees as required. Ensures students hired in a leadership role are cleared with the Office of Student Conduct (i.e., Housing and Residence Life, CCSI positions).

• Verifying Federal Work-Study student award eligibility of students with financial aid before job placement and throughout the recruitment process.

• Assist new hires with the onboarding process in Workday.

• Facilitating the completion of Form I-9 Employment Verification requirements for all new employees utilizing E-Verify. 

Performs various functions in the HRIS system to include:

• Initiating functions in Workday HCM/Recruiting such as creating job requisitions, referring applicants, or inviting candidates to apply for vacant positions. Approves/reviews various business processes in Workday to include hiring, placement, assign organization, and processing job changes such as transfers and terminations. Accurately enters the information in the HRIS database.

• Ensuring position titles are displayed in Workday in a consistent manner and follow best practices according to established protocols.

• Reviewing TeamDynamix ticketing system and responding to all open ticket inquiries within 72 hours.

• Reviewing and responding to emails received in the student employment mailbox.

• Testing new Workday Releases for functionality and potential implementation.

Coordinates and develops Work-Study and Student Employment programming:

• Collaborating with the Organizational Development team to create support programming for students to develop workplace competencies as well as process and best practice training for supervisors. 

• Partnering with divisional to develop and create student recognition programs.

• Attending new student orientations to promote the student employment program.

Develops Student Employment Hiring Policies and Procedures in accordance with best practices:

• Developing Work-Study/Student Employment guidelines for hiring managers and students.  

• Ensuring the Student Employment Handbook is current and up to date.

• Conducting benchmarking analysis on Student Employment policies, procedures, and programming as required.

• Maintaining membership with the National Student Employment Association.   

• Ensuring websites display accurate and the most up-to-date information on FWS/Student Employment hiring procedures.

Conducts audits and communicates the status of FWS hours:

• Monitoring the Federal Work-Study student total award amount on a bi-weekly basis to ensure student payments do not exceed allocated funds. Responsible for communicating FWS's remaining hours to both supervisors and students at least three times during a semester (during the beginning, mid-point, and towards the end, 2 to 3 weeks before graduation).

• Ensuring proper reconciliation to the general ledger for Work-Study Cost

• Ensuring Work-Study students are ended in Workday at the end of each academic year including graduating students.  

• Providing analytics and input into the review of student positions to ensure FWS funding is utilized to the maximum.

• Entering total award amounts for each FWS student in Workday. Collaborates with Financial Aid to modify award amounts as required.

• Enter one-time payments when applicable.Centers/Function/Fund.

Provides leadership, guidance, and support to direct reports by:

• Collaborating with the Manager of Talent Acquisition to provide ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure direct reports meet/exceed expectations related to service standards.

• Mentoring the Human Resources Partner by providing coaching, feedback, and training recommendations.   

• Providing mentorship, orientation, and training to internal Human Resources Student employees.

• Scheduling and assigning tasks to internal Human Resources Student employees.

Qualifications/Requirements

• A Bachelor's in any discipline is required and 3 years of relevant experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in Administration, Financial Aid, or Human Resources may substitute the bachelor's degree requirement.

• This position requires a high level of analytical skills to problem-solve a variety of Human Resources related challenges and provide sound judgment in decision-making. This position requires the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner while gathering and analyzing information skillfully.

• Proven ability to take initiative and prioritize actions while managing numerous tasks. Proven ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.

• This position requires proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Workday Human Capital Management and workday Recruiting experience preferred.

• Ability to learn Colleague-Ellucian, TeamDynamix, and other platforms related to Human Resources.

• This position requires strong communication skills both written and verbal. This position requires an individual who speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations. Must have excellent presentation skills.

• Provide excellent customer service to all University constituents. Follow up on inquiries on time. Diffuse irate situations in a calm and solution-focused manner. Displays a positive and welcoming demeanor to students, faculty, and staff.

• Ability to handle highly sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.

As an HR Tech Lead, you will develop and manage innovative technologies that are changing the HR technology space. You will build, lead, and mentor a team of technologists to design, build, deploy, test, and support functionality across a variety of stacks and platforms including Workday, Ceridian and Global View. Through partnering with business stakeholders, you'll drive business value while also producing great code. Internal applications are built using a highly scalable microservice architecture that is deployed via containers to our cloud hosted Kubernetes environments. Key technologies in this framework include: AWS, .NET Core in C#, Python, Snowflake and Tableau. 

You will be expected to take ownership of projects and identify business design gaps with Blackstone business analysts. You’ll tackle a variety of problems from scaling out infrastructure to promoting business efficiency through automating contract creation. Responsibilities:

• Build web applications or deploy 3rd party solutions to enhance HR functional capabilities

• A self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies

• Prior experience delivering modernized technology to business users

Expected annual base salary range:

$175,000 - $250,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
