Pinnacle Group are seeking a skilled Housing Assistant to assist the Void Co-ordinator and the Nominations Co-ordinator ensuring they both have the required assistance in pushing through properties from void works through to letting the units. In essence assisting both parties with their administrative duties to ensure timeous delivery of completed refurbishment works as well as the administrative duties regarding the management of nominations and the allocation thereof.
You will be joining our Affordable Housing team based in Slough, Berkshire. The Affordable Housing team operates a large mixed portfolio of new and existing Affordable homes nationwide comprising Affordable and Social Rent, Shared Ownership and Supported homes.
You will be working within our flagship division delivered in conjunction with Local authorities which is a market-leading council partnership acquiring, refurbishing, managing and maintaining a portfolio of properties.
This is 3-month fixed term remote role with travel required once a week to our Slough office.

Key responsibilities:
• Assist the nominations co-ordinator in the management of the nominations process, ensuring property data files are produced in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Ensure the suitability of tenants taking up tenancies in accordance with appropriate pinnacle and contractual requirements.
• Booking pre inspections and exit inspections
• Chasing compliance from the contractors. IE. Gas. Electrical.
• Confirming any keys at exchange, where to collect and advise agents that we will be collecting on a certain date and who.
• Assisting with meter tops ups when assets are in void works and booking in mid-terms/sign off In relation to void work inspections.
Key requirements:
• Demonstrable experience of successfully operating in an equivalent role.
• Ability and confidence to demonstrate leadership in areas of Nominations agreements and tenancy startups.
• Ability to engage and influence at all levels, both within the organisation and externally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and understanding Microsoft office
