• You will serve as staff advisor for Navy Medicine Total Force training and education policies, programs, and practices.

The Sr. Manager will partner with Inflammation Leadership to advance organizational strategies and goals. • Assist with implementation and execution and serve as the direct point of contact for the Medical Value and Access team and IDN strategy for the TA MSLs including tracking and reporting KPIs and insights to senior leadership.

• Assist with onboarding new hires and overall MSL field readiness and continued up-skilling for the Therapeutic Area MSL team regarding Medical Value and Access

• Provide leadership for FME, Medical Operations and PMC regarding specific TA needs for ALIGN and dashboard needs for MSL and senior leadership needs for documentation and reporting.

• Provide leadership and collaborate with cross functional teams for the training steering committee and ensure appropriate resources in collaboration with GLP, Medical and Sci Comm teams.

• Influence the analysis, design, and construction of the SEP and tactical implementation plans for the MSL team. Provide insights and recommendation into long-range goals and resource needs for the team.

• Provider leadership and incorporation of US Medical, Sci Comm, GLP and MSL leadership on development of resources, documentation and utilization of the field MSL resources

• Contribute to and provide administrative departmental activities such as budgets, resources, and staffing needs for specified products.

• Liaise cross functionally to guide MSL support for Clinical Trials for the Therapeutic Area MSL team.

• Under direction of MSL TA Lead set strategic role for MSLs and serve as point of contact for Congresses/Medical Meetings/scientific exhibits pertinent to identified products and pipeline molecules

• Conduct briefings of key strategic MSL priorities including important metrics, impact measures, outcomes, and qualitative insights for senior management

• Assist in determining and establishing organizational structures and supervisory relationships to meet future needs of the department.

• Represent the department or Amgen as a primary internal and external contact as advised by the MSL TA Head

• Provide oversight and consistent updates to the MSL Hub and SharePoint site to ensure ready access to MSL resources to improve efficiency.

• Coordinate and conduct projects with vendors and cross functional departments as designated by TA Lead (examples include MSL TA Feedback Survey, Veeva link, AI projects)

Postdoctoral Fellow - Oncology

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will perform an independent research project that will help contribute to the development of human therapeutics. The Postdoc will train under Dr. Andrew Holland and other leading scientists in the field at our global headquarters and research site in Thousand Oaks, California.

We are looking for highly talented, self-motivated individuals passionate about science and making high-impact discoveries in Oncology. The postdoctoral fellow will explore the biology underpinning oncogenic dependencies with an initial focus on dysregulated Wnt/β-Catenin signaling in colorectal cancer. The postdoctoral fellow will take a multi-disciplinary approach combining chemical biology, molecular biology, cell biology, and functional genomics.

The successful candidate will have access to Amgen’s innovative technologies and innovation and be expected to make exciting scientific contributions to the field, present at scientific conferences, and publish their work. Postdocs will be a part of the broader R&D Postdoc Program that focuses on training the next generation of industry scientists.
