To develop and strengthen community partnerships and stakeholder engagement to enable residents to receive holistic and synergistic care in the community. This includes working closely with community partners and internal stakeholders on the planning, implementation and operationalisation of community engagement initiatives based on the strategic roadmap of the Regional Health System.
The position holder will also communicate learnings from initiatives partnered with the community across the organisation, identify ways to sustain and/or improve partnered initiatives, identify and develop best practices of partnership models for adoption across NUHS institutions.
Plan, organise and maintain good community relations & engagement
• Build strong relationships between internal stakeholders and community organisations including schools, corporate, grassroots and public organisations for outreach opportunities.
• Ensure good working relationship through regular engagement with community partners, public agencies and private organisations.
• Develop and implement strategic partnerships and initiatives to support residents together with community partners
• Plan, organise, conduct and facilitate networking and engagement events and activities with national agencies, Social Service Agencies and Grassroots Organisations
• Plan and execute the Community Healthy Precinct activities with community partners and identify the suitable population segment(s) to activate within the constituency
• Update and maintain partners mailing list.
Work closely with community partners to identify gap and support in outreach events
• Support in community outreach and events to create awareness on preventive health and RHSO programs
• Identify the needs within community and leverage on the community partners’ knowledge craft areas of concern.
Develop plans to pilot new services / program in the community
• Develop workflow and operationalized plans to pilot new services/programs in the community.
• Work with stakeholders to influence them to come on-board NUHS’ programmes and services.
Any other duties
• Carry out projects/assignments as and when assigned to deliver expected results of projects/assignments.

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline
- Degree in any discipline
- Experience in community engagement and partnership in healthcare industry or public/civil service would be advantageous.
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels

- Resourcefulness in problem solving and resilient in overcoming challenges
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects with minimal supervision
