About this role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Hospitality Technology and Processes Executive to join our team. You do not need to have a background in hospitality but you must at least be interested to learn about the industry. The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in innovation and using technology to help our hotel deliver exceptional guest experiences. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, optimize, and implement technology solutions to enhance the guest experience, streamline operations, and improve efficiency within the hospitality industry.
- Analyze existing processes and workflows and identify areas for improvement or automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions, including software and hardware, that support the company's objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and at the forefront of hospitality technology.
- Train staff on new technology implementations and ensure smooth adoption across all levels of the organization.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Lead and participate in the testing, validation, and quality assurance of technology solutions to guarantee they meet the company's standards.
- Maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation related to technology projects and processes.
- Monitor technology-related issues that arise and work with external vendors to achieve a rapid resolution to minimize disruptions.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of technology projects and processes.
Qualifications you need to possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Experience with or willingness to learn about hospitality technology, operations, and processes is an added bonus.
- Ability to learn our hotel’s Property Management Systems (PMS) and other industry- specific software.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and execute projects.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to present ideas in a systematic and logical manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
