Clinical
• To work on a six monthly rotational basis in the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital undertaking rotations in out-patients, gymnasium rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, orthopaedic in-patients, orthopaedic oncology and out-patient paediatrics
• To be professionally and legally accountable and responsible for all aspects of your own work, including the management of your caseload of patients within your area of rotation, without direct supervision
• To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse and complex presentations, using manual assessment techniques, analytical skills and clinical reasoning to determine a diagnosis
• To formulate and deliver individual treatment programmes based on evidence-based practice, using clinical reasoning and a wide range of manual physiotherapy techniques. To evaluate and modify treatment plans according to assessment and patient needs, discharging them when appropriate

• Liaise with senior staff as appropriate, with all issues relevant to service delivery and development

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust invites applications from highly motivated and suitably qualified individuals to the role of Senior Clinical Fellow in Foot and Ankle Surgery. The post will be commencing from August 2025 for a 12-month period.

Applicants should have a grounding in Foot and Ankle surgery and ideally have obtained the FRCS or equivalent. The post aims to provide specialist training for individuals who have either completed a UK training program and possess a CCT or have completed an equivalent training program.

This post, which involves two all day theatre activity, provides an excellent and unique opportunity for intensive hand on surgical training in Foot and Ankle surgery. We have a dynamic and innovative approach to problems and the Fellow will be exposed to newer procedures done under NICE guidance like sinus tarsi implant application and percutaneous bunion surgery, in addition to arthroscopic fusions, complex osteotomies and joint replacements in the foot and ankle.

The fellow, dependent on experience, will have the opportunity to undertake independent supervised operating lists and attend outpatient clinics. There will be opportunity to undertake research and audit. Involvement in an ongoing or new research project is to be a major part of this post. The post holder will be expected to undertake presentations and produce publications based on their work.

The fellow will be invited to attend the meetings of the Heart of England Foot and Ankle Society, which is open to consultant Foot and Ankle surgeons in the region.

All aspects of Elective Foot & Ankle Surgery including Paediatric Foot and Ankle problems are undertaken. The current schedule does not include involvement of the Fellow in the Paediatric Clinics, but this can be arranged by request.

The company is a UK leading engineering business specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the manufacturing industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes pipework and plant installations. planned and preventive maintenance along with a variety of other engineering services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the company's head office function, supporting projects in the West Midlands and across the UK.

Duties

As a suitably experienced credit controller, with knowledge of managing high-volume invoice accounts, you'll be working within the company's head office in Kings Norton B30 3HX. With responsibility to ensure all administrative tasks are completed in line with the companies operating procedures. Particular duties will include chasing healthy debt, statement sending and follow up calls, confirming payment due date and informing the client, clearing up potential queries on statements, invoice re-sends if required, document re-sends, updating the internal system to reflect the state of the account. Other duties will include handling external client calls, greeting visitors to the office along with other general office and telephone duties as required to support the administration team.

About You

Based ideally in Birmingham, you will need to live within a short commute of B30 3HX.

Demonstrable experience within a similar credit controller role is essential for this position.

Knowledge of "Integrity" software would be advantageous.
