Are you a driven, sales-focused professional eager to grow with a dynamic, independent insurance broker? Our client, a young and fast-growing firm based in Bristol, is expanding and looking for a Development Account Executive to join their team. Specialising in Professional Indemnity (PI) for clients including solicitors, financial advisers, insurance brokers, and property professionals, they have quickly built a strong business with £5 million GWP and £600k in commission income.
Who You Are
You're a motivated, results-oriented professional with a proven track record in PI or related insurance lines, and you're excited to work in a role where success is visible and rewarded. You're confident in building strong relationships and driven to make your mark in a high-growth environment.
The Role
In this role, you'll have the autonomy to develop the PI portfolio further, working with high-value leads provided directly from the firm's established network and marketing efforts. With a mix of warm leads and high-potential opportunities, you'll engage with professionals in sectors such as law, financial services, insurance, and real estate to drive new business and expand client relationships.
Requirements
- At least three years' experience in PI broking, underwriting, or a related area (D&O, casualty).
- Proven success in meeting sales targets and growing client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly motivated and proactive, with the resilience needed for a high-accountability role.
- CII qualifications are a plus but not essential.
Location Flexibility
While based in Bristol, our client is open to candidates from Birmingham and other areas along the M5 corridor, with the possibility of covering travel expenses for 1-2 days a week in the office. This offers flexibility while keeping you closely connected to the team.
If you're ready for a high-impact role in a supportive, client-focused firm with strong lead generation, we'd love to hear from you.
