We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Essentia Executive team and drive the Trust’s strategic ambitions in South East London. This pivotal role is responsible for providing leadership in delivering the Trust’s capital development plans, compliance and assurance functions, property investments, and space management strategy. As a key member of the executive team, the postholder will oversee the planning, design, and delivery of healthcare facilities to meet the clinical, research, and administrative needs of the Trust, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Property and Financial Management
Develop a property strategy to optimise space and generate revenue. Manage project costs within financial targets and engage stakeholders to enhance the portfolio.

Leadership and Corporate Responsibilities
Provide leadership to promote an inclusive culture aligned with Trust values, developing team structures and career plans to drive performance. Represent Essentia and the Trust regionally and nationally, leading sustainability and transformation initiatives.

The North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust is a medium-sized acute and community trust with over 525 beds and over 600 community staff, serving more than 600,000 people living across Enfield and Haringey and the surrounding areas, including Barnet and Waltham Forest.



The hospital has been on its present site for over 100 years and was established as an NHS trust by statute in December 1990. The Trust’s services are provided on the North Middlesex University Hospital site as well as a range of community sites across the London Borough of Enfield, including at partner hospitals. The post holder will ensure that all aspects of nursing and multi-disciplinary care is delivered to agreed high standards which provide the best possible experience and outcome to service users across services in Community Health Services. We are looking for Deputy Director for learning disability and autism in Brent.

You will also support the delivery of the Neurodiversity agenda within the trust including developing and reviewing pathways and participating in the many different forums, partnership meetings related to the role. This role includes the operational management of Kingswood LD inpatient units, Brent CLDT and the ASD assessment hub within the outer boroughs. Further to this you are part of the Brent Management team leading the LDA agenda and its delivery.

This role will support the neurodiversity lead deliver the neurodiversity agenda across the Trust. With responsibility for driving forward strategic work that aims to ensure the Trust is a neurodiversity aware and inclusive organisation. As well as overseeing the operational management of the specialist Adult inpatient learning disability services, the Autism diagnostic service and community LD services. Further to this you will support the delivery of LDA services within Brent and support relevant agendas within the borough.

The post holder will be the key representative of LDA services to the public, statutory and voluntary organisations. This includes working with internal and external partners across the ICBs and National teams as necessary and delivery and development, planning & meaningful co-production. The Society and College of Radiographers (SoR/CoR) work together as distinct but aligned entities with a shared mission: to promote, advance, and protect the profession of radiography for the benefit of public health. With over 30,000 members, the Society acts as the professional body and trade union for radiographers, while the College drives research, education, and public awareness of radiography.

About You

We are looking for a strategic Director of Finance and Operations to lead our financial operations and ensure the organisation is equipped to meet its ambitious goals. As a key member of the senior executive team, you'll work closely with the Chief Executive, Executive Directors, and the Boards of both the Society and the College to drive financial sustainability and contribute to the future of radiography.

Essential Criteria:

You will be an accomplished finance leader with experience in charity and corporate governance, strategic planning, and support services management. A fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPFA or equivalent) with a proven track record of guiding organisations through complex financial landscapes, within membership bodies or charities and ideally with knowledge of trade unions.

• Leadership Excellence: Experience in leading hybrid teams, driving performance, and motivating others to achieve organisational goals.
• Governance & Compliance Knowledge: Expertise in charity, trade union, company, and pensions legislation, with the ability to balance compliance with strategic vision.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate long-term goals into actionable plans and ensure their execution.
• Project Management: Experience delivering complex projects and managing resources efficiently.
• Collaborative Approach: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, influence decision-making, and foster partnerships.

We are looking for Executive Assistants to join our Headquarters Team supporting our Executive Directors at a really exciting time! We are looking for an AfC band 7 Senior Executive Assistant to provide maternity cover for the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive from early January 2025 on a fixed term basis for 9 – 12 months.

This role is full time and are based at St Pancras Hospital in Camden. They involve being based in the Headquarters at least three days per week, but with flexibility to work from home the rest of the week and with flexibility around the days in the office. The roles will work closely with the Chief Executive, the Executive Team and other senior colleagues internally and externally.



The Executive Assistants will play a key role in supporting the Executive Team in delivering the planned improvements in patient care and the working lives of staff identified in our Partnership Strategy and our plans for our new Trust. Both post holders willprovide comprehensive, efficient and effective Executuve Assistant support, one to the Chief Executive and one to the Chief Digital and Information Officer and her senior team, as well as being part of the overall Headquarters Team. The roles include diary coordination, administrative support, preparing and coordinating briefings, taking minutes, drafting correspondence and reports, planning and supporting projects.

To provide comprehensive, responsive, efficient and effective support to the Chief Executive enabling them to focus on strategic issues affecting the Partnership and the wider health economy. This will include diary coordination, corporate support, preparing and coordinating briefings, taking minutes, drafting correspondence and reports, business planning, administration support for major projects and leading on minor projects.

The partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) is going from strength to strength since it was originally established in 2021 forming the North London Mental Health Partnership.

Key Requirements

· Demonstrate significant experienced in working at Board level, being able to communicate with senior members of staff, external stakeholders, varied professional groups, patients, carers, the public and regulators.

· Minimum of five years in a senior administrative / EA role within a large complex NHS organisation or similar environment

· Ability to plan and organise very senior staff diaries, meetings and take formal minutes

· Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast paced office environment

· Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills

· Excellent organisational and time management skills

· Proven ability to work with autonomy and to exercise initiative and influence

· Ability to plan and organise own work to meet demanding deadlines to agreed standards
